I think you know what I mean. Don't tell me you think five is reasonable from a team that dominates the league every year since the early 90"s.

I'm the opposite. When the snow was falling the Stamps D was unstoppable. The Argos coudn't do anything In the snow. They're were lost.

We should be celebrating our 2nd straight Grey Cup and talking about becoming a dynasty.

Not historically...

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.

They've had five Hall of Fame starting QBs in that span. Six if you include Kevin Glenn. Six HOF quarterbacks should have 12 rings between them.

Just my 2 cents but I think some are being way too hard on Dickenson. This was about execution. You wanted a TD when you are up by 8 with several minutes left. Its the freaking CFL. It is God awful luck and a very poor job of securing the football. Full stop.

It's a god damn crying shame they lost that game.

Posey seems like a genuine guy. I'd be up there hooting and hollering like an animal. He's talking like it's some boring interview on the first day of training camp. Dude just won MVP in a crazy Grey Cup.

I feel the worst for Messam. I have no idea why the coaching staff doesn't put the ball in his hands inside the 10 yard line.

Just got Back to my hotel room. If Dickerson is back next year I will not be renewing. He’s a ducking clown. I don’t care if this team wins every regular season until
Ten end of time, they are nothing but losers when it counts.

agreed, play to your strengths seems like a reasonable thought pattern. with our d, no way toronto comes back and scores twice.

You want, but don't always get. What you WANT is to give yourself the best chance to win. Bad weather, chance to be up by two full scores you take the points. 10 times out of 10.

This is not a one time thing remember last year? Refusal to run the ball probably cost us a Grey Cup. This year damn near certain, not calling a running play or two then a FG attempt was beyond stupid.

When Posey was making that 100 yard play, where was the beer tossed from the stands? Somebody was asleep at the wheel....

Oh yeah I have been just as disappointed as you over the years. Over the span you listed we only had 4 losing seasons (1 of which we won the cup) but more often than not couldn't get it done in the playoffs. In that same span of years we've won more cups than Winnipeg, Saskatchewan, Hamilton, Montreal, BC, Ottawa, and Edmonton. The only team that has more since 1990 is Toronto, as of today. Anything can and does happen in a one game winner take all, sometimes the better team wins and sometimes they don't. Sure we could have won more over the years but the past is the past.

The biggest risk to the Stamps is regular season apathy. And that’s a problem with the cfl in general. A long and seemingly meaningless regular season. Just get in and at that point it’s pretty much a coin toss in terms of who wins. Stamps fans may not have the patience to care about another 18 games next season when none of them matter if the team can’t close out championships. These chokes are miles worse than those in the 90s. Completely giving away titles.

For the second year in a row. He had TWO TD's in the game. But noooooo, gotta outsmart the opponent.

I take solace knowing Calvillo had a few Grey Cup losses before he ripped off a few in a row at the end of his career. I think Bo is better than Calvillo.

Football is a crazy game.

Hand it off twice to Messam and if he gets in the end zone it's game over and if he doesn't its a two score game with just over 3 minutes left and an Argos offense needing to score twice. It's just bad play calling.
I didn't much like the play call either but I disagree -- if a player fumbles its on the player, not the coach. If you hand it to Messam there's no guarantee he doesn't fumble it either. It's up to the players to execute and in this case Jorden failed to secure the ball and it resulted in the worst possible outcome for the Stamps.

That call is also not comparable to last year IMO -- big difference between 2nd and Goal on the 2 and 1st and Goal on the 9. DD made a mistake last year but I don't think you can put it on him this year.

Indeed. He broke one of the cardinal rules of pro sports.
