Jagr jokes about Gaudreau slowing down for him on the two on one goal.

No salute last night despite a 2 point effort. Therefore you may continue with your attitude.

Oh, and Ferland currently is far, far better than Bennett. Maybe not over their careers, but right now Ferland is killing it.

Hello guys, 68´s interview in Czech media today. Jags talking also about his injury. I think he loves it in CGY and wants to be loved by fans by playing great hockey! He´s such a great person!

Enjoy the article, used again google tranasslator, some funny things due to this in that article again /croissant instead of crosscheck etc :-), but I guess you will understand :-)/

That one works, thanks Petr!

Asked about the cold winters in Calgary:

"I'm totally calm, I'm a Siberian boy! It was up to minus forty-five when I played in Omsk. So here I am completely calm. As I say, frosts do not matter, on the contrary, it will move me on. Look how I did when I came back from Russia. I kicked it like I was playing for another seven years. My muscles will freeze and thicken. So do not worry. No problem."

I love Jags.

How did you do it?

"I got a croissant, I fell on my knees and I started off. So I got dragons in places I had no experience with. Most of the time, when you stretch your throat, it's in the bones."

I believe crossed bun is the appropriate replacement.

It does help explain why European refs have always been a little off.

What he means by that is he was never recognized on the street in Florida but here when he's walking around he can sense people looking at him with admiration knowing he's JAGR. I definitely did that twice already this year.

Not sure another thread is needed but thought it would be worthwhile keeping an eye on this countdown as he closes in on 3rd...2nd. and 1st all-time. Also dont want to jinx things with another injury by having a countdown thread.

I wonder if they plan on asking Ron Francis and Mark Messier to attend the particular game in which he surpasses them.

As of today:

1 Gordie Howe 1,767
2 Mark Messier 1,756
3 Ron Francis 1,731
4 JAROMIR JAGR 1,718

What a great side story for this season!

We are all pulling for you Jags!

Game to circle as it stands now: Game 66: March 2nd NYR at home.

Interestingly enough game 67 is in Pittsburgh.

I'm not going to sift through the thread but perhaps it has been brought up before, and I'm not going to create a thread on it just yet. When it comes to the 2018 NHL All-Star Game, I assume there will be fan voting again? CP and Flames fans as a whole should come together and make sure Jaromir Jagr gets voted in for another ASG in his career. Can't recall, but I don't think Jagr stated in the last ASG he played that it would be his last, did he?

Plus I want to get an All-Star jersey with Jagr on the back (and likely a Flames logo somewhere on the shoulder), since the Flames aren't likely to wear a retro this season.

I love this idea, but would rather see Jagr get as much time to rest as possible.

I'm going to hazard a guess that the John Scott incident killed pretty much any chance of this happening. Johnny is all but guaranteed to be the Flames rep at this dog and pony show.

It really sounded like he didn't want to go to the 2016 All Star game, but was kind of pressured into it. Don't think he wants to go this year either.
