Bennett and Lazar both have more 4v5 ice time so far this year, so I'd expect one of them to fill in for Stajan.

those forward lines look good. as for the d... there is really nothing bartkowski can do to come out of the lineup is there?
-2 in 10 mins of ice time, team low 40% possession, directly responsible for a goal and a penalty shot against, all in one game. gets to play over our ahl seasoned and best d prospect. got it

Unless Bart get sick in the next 5 hours and can't go, he's our guy until Hammer comes back.

I agree that is what will happen, and probably for future injuries on defense this season. just find it curious for a management group to insist on playing a guy who neither helps us win now (in fact no one else on the roster sinks our chances as much as him) or helps us in the future with development

Agreed that Stone should be a mainstay on the PP. His greatest asset is his big shot, and we're not setting him up to use it.
The second unit simply does not capitalize nearly ever. Why not give Stone the chance to tee up some bombs for them. He's pretty good at getting them through.

Well Bennett will be the one in the penalty box, so it will be Lazar I suppose.

The two guys in particular that I hope Jagr rubs off on are Monahan and Jankowski. Seems like these are the two centers that Jagr will most certainly end up playing with throughout his time on the Flames. I think Bennett could learn a thing or two from Jagr as well, but he plays more of a speed game. Monahan plays a more methodical game like Jagr does, and Jankowski has that reach and size that Jagr can really impart his wisdom on.
Should be a fun game. Hope the Flames come out with a good start, and play a consistent game. It should be an easy 2 points, but they have to earn it tonight. Vancouver is playing fairly well for a team that isn't looking that great on paper - 6-3-1 in their last 10.

I'm sure it's not the first time Jagr has been older than his two linemates combined, but it's pretty funny to see.

Yeah that was the case as well when he was playing in Florida with Barkov and Huberdeau.
