Monahan had literally a puck width of open net to aim for but he still hit it. Muffinhands is one of the best finishers in front of net around at the moment.
Gaudreau looks on top of his game, he's confident that when he's in control of the puck, some goon isn't going to try break his hands.

Still a lot of ice time for the fourth, where I'd like to see us throw janko and Bennett out extra shifts to break the duck. Jagr should help with that.

Thank Christ I'd rather have a 90 year old Jagr than to have to watch Lazar play.

Smith needs some rest. As good as he was today I think there were some mental lapses. Hopefully we can string a few wins together and make sure lack can play 15 or so games this year.
Need Smoth sharp for the playoffs.

Mono just pure skill. Saw that a fake got the goalie down. Tkachuk said with Roger after he watched the first shooters to decide his move. Sure enough, a fake and the goalie goes down early again and there is room up top. Just pure skill to execute those by both.

Lazar needs to be upgraded on, or at least moved off that line when Jagr comes back. His offense and hockey IQ is not good enough.

He can replace someone, either Stajan or even Versteeg on the 4th line. Or sit in the pressbox. Whatever.

Brouwer played almost 3 minutes of the last 10 of the third in comparison.

Sure feels like it's getting close to being over. Flames better win that trade if/when it happens.

We’d be better off only having one of the two and using that excess cap space on another glaring need and given what we paid for Hamonic we could have had better plenty of options.

Of course I would prefer to have them both if there wasn’t a cap in the league, but it is and redundant resources Become extremely restrictive.

Then they should bump Stajan out and play Lasar on the 4th line.

I’m betting Smith plays divisional game against Vancouver and Lack gets his start against Detroit.
