100% this. Needs to be quoted.

Jankowski has been described by more then coach as a sponge, he soaks up information. He's also one of the few bigger bodies on the Flames with a huge reach that can benefit from some Jagr information.

Get Brouwer out of the line up, put Versteeg on the 4th with his PP time and have it be Jankowski - Bennett - Jagr. Stop being so rigid with wing/center GG. Guys who've learned the game at center won't forget it overnight.

Someone mentioned Jankowski spent his 1st season with the Friars at left wing, it's not going to hurt him in his rookie NHL season either.

yup, there was a thread back in August 2015 (linked below) and that was my take too, the second we drafted him he was my bet to succeed Gio, and I still think that's the case.

If he glues himself to Jagr this year and soaks up as much knowledge as he can from him, then I am even more confident than ever that he will be the next Captain

Bennett taking it all in literally on bended knee makes it look like he's being schooled by a revered grandmaster... oh wait; he is.

We lost yesterday, but my "won't be ready for 7-10 days" Jagr jersey was finished this AM by Fanattic.

So my day has been made.

I might sleep in it.

When asked about how Jagr felt after 1st Flames practice .."not very good"

On whether Jagr would play Saturday vs WPG. Jagr says he will see as it is "day to day" in his mind. Right he's not feeling very good.
Sandbagger, or very honest.

What a great interview.

Smart player. He's honest and isn't a homer with the comments. Hopefully the Flames can make McDavid play more hockey he isn't good at in future BoAs. Teach the kids to use their butts like you Jags.

I didn't look at every team. But it appears Flames currently have the most expensive 4th line.

Flames - $8.275M
Canucks - $7.925M
Wild - $6.26M
Sharks - $6.01M
Oilers - $4.425M

It was more expensive at the end of last season. Baby steps.
