Also Beric. Can't forget Beric. The Lightning Lord who had been brought back 6 times by the Lord of Light will not have such a casual ending.

I have a tough time thinking Tormund and Beric died off screen when the wall went down. They still have parts to play, so this must be a mini cliff hanger for next season - which I'm sure will be ruined by people spotting the actors on location during filming. There was literally 5 seconds when I thought Jamie was going to die. Glad he didn't.
Was pretty pumped with the Cleagane reunion. Can't wait to see that fight. Overall very satisfied with the finale.

Unknown. As early as next summer, as late as Spring 2019. Production starts in October if memory serves.

Season 7 was filmed Aug 2016 - Feb 2017 and premiered in July. July 2018 is probably the earliest we can expect.

The dude grew up with his brother and sister boning in the next room. An aunt and nephew getting it on shouldn't phase him.
Hell, with all the Targaryincest in history, an aunt and nephew getting together is like an interracial marriage for normal people.

I think he escaped to the part of the wall that didn't get destroyed. Looking at the scene there were a few Eastwatch towers at the top of the wall that survived the dragon taking down the wall.
So glad Little Finger is dead. He became an annoying unimportant character after the Battle of the Bastards. Kind of interesting that the Stark girls didn't follow their father's rule that the executioner should be the same person that passes the sentence.
How did the Ironborn Captain forget that Theon is a eunuch now? Or was that not well known and Theon now has the reputation of the Iron Crotch.
Another incest baby on the way?

Worried Tyrion takes a malevolent turn after rewatching that scene. Either he is jealous, or he's made a deal with Cersei, or he's worried about the implications. The dark music though usually means something bad.

Yeah Sam doesn't need books from the Long Night anymore.
With Bran, Sam can get first hand knowledge about how the first war with the White Walkers played out.

Can one of you who seems to be able to come up with some explanation for anything explain the logic behind Cersei's actions...
- She seems genuinely shaken by the undead soldier and offers to accept the truce if Jon swears loyalty to her (I think?) and agrees to never leave the North;
- When Jon refuses, she says No Deal to the whole thing, and storms out of the conference;
- Tyrion says. . . . Something
. . . . to her and she comes back not only ready to accept the truce, but pledges Lannister troops to fight with the North. . . . Except;
- She then says, Nope, I'm keeping my troops here to consolidate my hold on the South as soon as the Golden Company arrives.
I genuinely can't see a logical thread, but rather than just bashing the writing, I'll give the collective shadow writers here a chance to make sense of it.
And if you can do that, we can move on to the entire Sansa & Arya plotline, which has me similarly baffled.

Pretty good, but not as good as the dragon attack on the Lanisters episode.
Yeah not sure what's up with the Tyrion in the hallway shot. Everyone loves her though so maybe he's just jealous.
I honestly thought Jamie was going to die, he's kind of useless at this point anyway.
No Cleganebowl!!!! BOO!

I'm glad Littlefinger is gone. I hated that character, and not in the way one is supposed to hate a bad character.
Ronin Jamie Lannister. Spinoff series?
And what is Jon's name? I swore I heard Edgar, but obviously that can't be correct.

Paid in gold which he then melts into the hand to make it bigger, becoming progressively more powerful as the series continues.

Cersei's first offer was to agree to the truce if Jon promises to not side with either the Targaryen's or the Lannisters. Her goal was to deny Dany the support of the North.
I think she was manipulating Tyrion in their private meeting. Tyrion now believes Cersei will keep her word about sending troops to fight the white walkers because she is willing to put aside differences for the sake of the child she is expecting. Funny how a cold calculating person like Cersei lets her pregnancy slip to Tyrion...
Cersei's plan is now to let Dany take her troops north and have the White Walkers and Dany's forces weaken each other. Dany now thinks Cersei has jumped on board even to the point where she is "reluctantly" deciding to help in the battle. Before this Dany wasn't ready to march North because Cersei would just take back everything Dany had won so far.
Cersei seems to be putting a lot of faith in the Golden Company mercenaries. She seems to believe they will shift the odds in her favour. Will have to see because the show hasn't explained them much.
