So I don't blame CNN for going after him. He's an alt-right piece of garbage. And I say that as someone who doesn't like CNN.
Threatening to release personal info about a private citizen because you don't like their content is doxing, and it's despicable regardless of whether you find their content offensive. Doxing can completely ruin people's lives, ruined relationships, job loss, etc.. CNN 'reserving the right' to release his info if he posts anything that ruffles their feathers is pretty low. Content is subjective. The meme was harmless (not that it even matters). They're a huge corporation going after a reddit user, and that's just making them look like even more of a joke.

Not sure what CNN was thinking going forward with all of this... What's happening now to them in social media for going after a meme creator in this day and age should have been so obvious...

As fun as it might be for social media to go after CNN, the longer this story remains the center of attention, the more likely it is that someone else makes the connection and decides to just go ahead and expose him anyway. This guy is probably just pleading for this all to go away and instead people claiming to defend him are making it into a bigger and bigger story. All it needs is for Trump to wade into this again and what little cover the guy has in being a private citizen is lost.
You'll have a hard time convincing me that this guy's brain is firing on all cylinders. Can't even maintain focus long enough to descend some steps and enter a big tank like mobile parked right at the bottom.

Isn't one of the issues with the internet is that you are no longer responsible for the consequences of your free speech. Now the name and shame usually has too harsh of punishments but if this person wasn't anonymous would he have posted the rest of his racist content.
Part of free speech is the freedom for others to judge you for it. This has been forgotten in the anonymous society we now live in.

So this is the lead story on CNN's webpage right now:
This is another example of why I can no longer stand CNN. Sure he video was in bad taste, but it was also clearly satire, and captures what trump is trying to do... smackdown CNN in a fake world, which is his world.
But then CNN scares the guy who made the video into profusely apologizing and scared to lose his job and his family being ridiculed. And then it's the lead story that the guy apologized?
What a garbage channel/website. It used to be the only channel I watched once a day.
I guess the garbage president had nothing to do with it.

Won't someone think of the anti-Jewish tinfoil hat guys?

Wait a second. Aren't the conservative snowflakes complaining that the press relies on too many anonymous sources? Well, in a twisted sort of way, this is the proof conservatives need that the press does have actual sources and are protecting the identity of those sources. CNN researched this guy, found out who he was, and exposed him for the troll he is. They have not released his identity to protect his interests. If pressed, they will release the details, but only if necessary. I don't see anything wrong with what they are doing.
Here's some advice. I always tell people in the organizations I work with to be very wary of social media and the crap you put out there. I suggest people use the front page of the newspaper as a test for anything you want to put out there. If you are not comfortable with that information making the front page if the newspaper, and are not comfortable defending that information, then you likely shouldn't post that information. There is no anonymity on the internet, especially for those who use social media. If you cant stand the embarrassment, don't post your dick pics on the web.

He was hoping for a MUCH bigger car, he is the president after all...
Fox is garbage too. Doesn't excuse CNN for being paid shills in the bag for the DNC and shooting themselves in the foot on a daily basis.
Paid shills? Oh, please. CNN seems to be paid by Meso laywers and blood thinners. Every CNN panel has 1-3 conservatives on it, depending on the size of the panel. They fired three reporters last week for getting a story wrong. False equivalency is false.

but they keep mentioning Russia, which they should totally forget about, and concentrate on the agenda, you know, the wall, the great healthcare, the voter fraud investigation. damn libbys.
