I've called Presidents a lot of things over the years, but "dbag," "loser," "knob," "jackass," and "clown" was never one of them until this one.
Never in my lifetime would I have ever imagined not being impressed by meeting a POTUS, but if ever saw this one coming, I would literally roll my eyes and walk the other way. It's like he just doesn't even count. It's weird. It's like there's the "PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES," and then there's this clown. The whole thing is just so surreal.
I wonder if anyone actually respects him in politics? I don't think you could count any Dem or Independent, and all of the Repubs are ass kissing goons. Maybe Pence does, but he's mentally unstable also.
How about "The official X% thread" where X is equal to his disapproval rating, so we can update it as it increases just so people people don't get confused.

Remember when Gabrielle Giffords was shot by a right-wing extremist a few years ago shortly have Sarah Palin tweeted a poster that had Giffords literally in crosshairs under the caption "Take aim"? And then Republicans and Fox News universally agreed that they needed to tone down their anti-Obama hysteria because it was inciting people to violence against their political opponents? No wait, I might be misremembering that last part...
late to the thread... but yeah, this occurred to me as well...
ultimately, this is not a good development for anyone, but it just makes me want to shake my head on how anyone could be against background checks at gun shows?!

Canada has its own issues, and we are not immune to gun violence, but i wake up glad I'm a canadian every day these kinds of incidents happen in the US because we are at least trying to do the right thing
No, some people have standards that they like to see in the President of the US.
You know things like not selling the country out to a mutual enemy of the US and Canada.
You know like not screwing millions of people out of health care.
You know like having someone with as much competence in the job as anyone else should have in their profession regardless of what it is, nevermind it being the most important job in the world.
You know like not seeing the most important trading partner for Canada not set itself on fire with hatred and ignorance that will ultimately injure everyone both in a figurative and literal sense.
I personally don't care if the leader of any country is democrat or conservative as it is important for both sides to have a say in how the country runs. It does matter that the government in charge actually knows how to operate a country smoothly. The Republicans have control of everything. They can do anything they want. Exactly how many bills have they signed into law? How many of those have been legitimately beneficial to people as a whole?
The reason why I dislike Trump is that he is incompetent and has somehow managed to surround himself with people who are even more incompetent than he is. I am looking forward to the day where sanity returns to politics and we don't have a daily, sometimes hourly example of what has this person done now that has harmed America.
If someone ran a hockey team with as much competence that Trump has shown, people would be out there with pitchforks. Even when Burke did something touching in a similar vein last week with the arena argument, he was lambasted. That is why people are outraged by Trump. It has nothing to do with the fact that the Republicans won the election. It has everything to do with the fact that he is not doing a good job and is actively harming the country.
