Countries should seriously outsource their presidents & prime ministers to Germany. If there where 25 Angela Merkel's running around governing the 25 richest countries, I bet we'd have flying automated cars, unlimited renewable energy and not a single starving child in the world right now.

The younger generation in the establishment needs to take over and moderate. There has been infighting in the royal family with some princes being kidnapped in the past year and rumours of the king being behind it.

Colonialism had its horrors. And - yes - Britain, France and the US have committed their share of atrocities.
However, the genocide committed by the Germans in WW2 has no equivalent: the systematic utilization of a modern industrialized state apparatus as a machine for the efficient slaughter of people has no equivalents.
There have been other genocides. Nothing as systematic, planned, and evil as what the Holocaust represents, however. Thankfully.
I think that is what peter was saying.

I'm not entirely sure about this. The USA is gearing itself up to be an oil exporter in 20 years time or so. This will change things dramatically.
The Saudis will always have a lot of influence, as they essentially have control over price. Things could change with the USA though. Hopefully the USA gets into a position where they are no longer reliant on middle eastern oil but their economy doesn't become dependent on oil exports. USA energy independence could change the political landscape dramatically.
