I think the Flames will feed off the energy in the Dome and come out skating and hitting.

They need to score a goal or two in the first period and play with the lead. Control things five on five. And get some key saves when we need them most.

And for the sake of all that is holy stay out of the box.

Do that and series is 2-1.

I've noticed so many big hits go unnoticed by the announcers and camera crew. I am hoping the home crowd can draw attention to that tonight.

There have been at least a dozen times during the first 2 games where I've caught myself trying to crane my neck around the edge of my TV to see the action that the camera guys are missing. Pretty bad camera work so far imo. Are the camera operators local guys or does Sportsnet have a crew that goes with them?

Don't worry guys, I got this. Wore a jersey in game one, didn't in game two, so now I will wear the garment that is sure to generate a victory... My Flames onesy.

I also hope Lazar draws in, but I also wouldn't mind if Wideman takes Bart's spot. Too many brutal plays in game two.

*Edit* just saw that there are no changes to the lines. Disappointed, especially with no Lazar. I don't buy the 'good enough to win' bs. They lost twice. They may have looked like they could keep up, but that isn't good enough. Make a minor change when a minor change is warranted. Swapping bouma for Lazar won't be a devastating vote of no confidence to the locker room​.

You can't control things 5 on 5 and you can't stay out of the box no matter how disciplined you are because the officials dictate the game, not the teams playing it.

This should be a good night, I am excited to watch the game. I didn't wear my jersey the last two game nights so I will be sporting my retro Monahan for the game. I think that is why they lost, it must be a curse or something.

Flames win by a few goals tonight and don't look back after this one. This is the start of an epic run by the good guys.
