We have it good considering some of the other guys out there. My lord, Romanuk in that recent Jets game, and just about every Oilers game. Atrocious.

I am guessing at this point it has been ruled out that they weren't guests on "Overtime" taking a call? That sounds exactly like how an upset caller would talk, except for the uncensored swearing.

Can't believe this is getting as much publicity as it is... I heard the comments and thought if I'd been watching this game with my buddies, the same language would have been used-if not worse. Then we'd talk about how badly the Jays have been playing.
We just wouldn't be mic'd up.

So has anybody been able to confirm the 3rd voice? It isn't Ball, Garrett, Millions, or Francis.

Hoping I can help clear things up a little.
The third voice definelty wasn't me. I am neither in broadcasting, nor was I in Anaheim last night. Also the third voice wasn't telling Garrett how stupid he is after stopping by the Anaheim booth to slap Hayward in the mouth.

I like how he didn't engage in the Flames bashing that was taking place by the drunken moron. He was actually defending Bouma (random bounce), and the Flames (they're not out of it yet).

I just hate that attitude. Gtfo if you don't want to be there reporting this team. Garrett's been passable but his lack of enthusiasm for being there is also very apparent. I certainly don't want blind homerism like up north, but some of the sort of spirit you get from guys like Wills, Loubo and Kerr would be appreciated.
Hell, even Francis was writing positive things about the Flames going in.

Ball quickly said that they should get home and win 2, then said the old saying that you are never out until you lose at home.

This is a story about nothing. The fact that someone might get penalized for this is a damn shame. Heaven forbid someone gives an candid responses in an environment that they felt was private. It's not like it's going to affect anyone. Hamilton, and all professional athletes get those kind of comments everyday from random people.
But everyone in society has to be perfect. We don't accept mistakes.

Sportsnet and their crew work side-by-side with the Flames every day of the year, I really doubt they're happy with one a clip of one of their guys flat out calling a player stupid. It's one thing to call a play stupid it's another to get personal.
Losing his job would be overboard but when you act unprofessionally expect consequences. Hopefully "Mr Flame" issues an apology and the Flames accept and move on, also hope he remains hidden, no need for a witch hunt.

It was a private conversation and as long as he wasn't offending the two others I fail to see how it was unprofessional in any manner. I imagine anyone at their jobs could be caught in this type of situation at one time of another if someone was eavesdropping and recording a private conversation unbeknownst to them.

Fair, but again, it was a mistake only cause he got caught on film, and we would have no idea about it if it wasn't recorded which it wasn't suppose to be. He's obviously upset about the result and was reacting as a passionate fan in the heat of the moment. He reacted just like anyone would around their friends or colleagues in that kind of environment. It wasn't suppose to be out in the public.
Hopefully he can keep his job because Hamilton is gonna be able to live and continue one with his life. And assuming his job doesn't involve him interacting with the players, there's no harm done.

There's a big difference between not being optimistic and what you do. The fact you don't see it means you're a troll, delusional or a delusional troll. Take your pick.
