Posted last night, but the third person and I have it from a very good source extremely close to this incident(I'll let you speculate who that might be if you wish) that the third person was a guy who works off the air.

Not ball or Garrett which was obvious but not millions or Francis or anyone that the public would know.


This source also told me an hour ago that sportsnet communications will be dealing with the matter so probably a release coming out soon.

He's a professional athlete. If he can't handle some drunk schmuck calling him stupid then he should just pack it in. These guys hear worse on a nightly basis. Can't believe all the people with their panties in a bunch. Go read the game thread if you think someone who thought it was a private conversation calling him stupid is offensive you should see what people said about him on a public message board

Yeah for sure. Total guarantee. The evidence is irrefutable - Millions did swear that one time. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe no one else has ever sworn before. Now, I've listened to Millions hundreds of times and sure, the voices obviously don't match... but I think we can all agree that Rog digitally manipulated his voice so he could talk mess about Dougie. Hamilton is anything but stupid, having won the OHL scholastic award. I doubt he'll lose any sleep over these comments.

I just hate that attitude. Gtfo if you don't want to be there reporting this team. Garrett's been passable but his lack of enthusiasm for being there is also very apparent. I certainly don't want blind homerism like up north, but some of the sort of spirit you get from guys like Wills, Loubo and Kerr would be appreciated.

Hell, even Francis was writing positive things about the Flames going in.

They should be able to say whatever they want when not on the air. It's bad enough here you have to walk on egg shells if you aren't as optimistic as others that choose to cling to any sliver of hope.

The fact that this is any type of controversy is beyond ridiculous. It was a private conversation that accidentally got on air. Mistakes happen, and people are still free to speak about things as they please last time I checked (although that seems to be changing). People need to give their holier than thou punish every little offence garbage a rest. No one really cares about the comment they just want to see someone burn.
