A couple big crunches on McBaby and he'll start shying away from contact. Shut him down and the oilers will fold like a cheap discount tent.
This is my primary motivation to watch these games.
We should start a poll. Which Shark will be that guy?
My own morbid interest to see McD taken down a notch and see if the rest of the team loses their minds and the series trying to avenge or do they shrug and say it happens.

Sharks: 46-29-7, 99 points (third in the Pacific Division and sixth in the western conference) Oilers: 47-26-19, 103 points (second in the Pacific Division and fourth in the western conference)
Regular-season series: Oilers won 3-2-1 (Sharks 2-3-0)
For most Oiler fans I know, this series is already a foregone conclusion. Seriously...I have had conversations where they are not worried until they face the Hawks in the Western Final....
First playoff game in 11 years and there it is. And how do they celebrate making it. With "Orange Crush" (snicker) All that time waiting for this day and they rip off the Flyers. Is that McDavid's favorite colour?
Hoping Sharks in 5, with the 1 Edmonton win coming away from the home crowd.
Edmonton will win this series and meet Calgary in round 2. Mcdavid has been a complete nightmare for the Sharks this season and that kid is on fire. A home ice advantage and crowd that'll be extremely fired up?
Yeah, the Oilers as much as I hate them are going to be a VERY tough out for San Jose.
I think a lot of people are underestimating the Sharks. Sure, they haven't played well of late, but the playoffs are an entirely different beast. The slate is wiped clean, and good experienced teams have an ability to elevate their game to another level when it really matters.
Oiler fans are way too cocky right now. It'll be beautiful watching them squirm when their smoke & mirrors team finally faces some adversity after enjoying a pretty soft schedule down the stretch. Even if Thornton misses a game or two, I think the Oilers are in for a shock when that puck drops.
