The fact that this is the only CP thread in which you post speaks volumes of your own inferiority complex about your sad hockey team and pathetically boring city.
Edmonton is no good.

Being a John is one thing, but the Oilers owner using his wealth and influence to threaten a woman's career is utterly disgusting.

Not only that, but he only posts when things are going well for the No Goods. Pathetic doesn't even begin to describe the guy.

Yeah, lately, because owners see the few teams in pro/college sports who had that as a tradition, and try to copy it by providing fans with free knockoff T's, cheapening the whole thing. The C of Red was one of the original pro sports teams to do this, even Winnipeg's white out was born as a response to the C of Red during a Flames/Jets playoff series in the 80s. So yes, it was innovative when Calgary did it. Which of course leads to copycat owners like Katz trying to create a bush league, forced version of it.
Extra try-hard points to Katz for trying to do this when he knows their traditional rivals - also in the playoffs this year - have a long-standing ORGANIC (so, different than 98% of the teams that do it) tradition of doing this. He's so cheesy. Blue/orange/copper Mile, getting fans to wear the same colour shirts in the playoffs...you're not Calgary, get your own playoff traditions and stop trying to copy us.

Lucic? that deal is god awful and you will all realize that soon
and don't kid yourself that the Hall for Larsson trade was a loss. I don't care that Hall has struggled and Larsson has been better than you expected - Chia lost that trade, all he had to do was be more patient.
No different than our Phaneuf trade - just becuase Phaneuf wilted away to a shadow of his former self doesn't mean that the trade was good, it wasn't.
stop kidding yourself.

While this is true, Winnipeg kept doing it. Calgary stopped and it was revived in the 2000s.
I realize this adds nothing to the post.

Didn't the oilers shamelessly copy the "Red Mile" that was made famous in 2004, by having the "Whyte Mile" just two years later when they made the Cup Finals after pathetically backing into the playoffs?

Thing is, most times you don't see consecutive calls one way late in an divisional game where teams are jostling for position - particularly to the team up on the scoreboard. That's really all I am saying and care to say on the matter.
|
I'm not going to explain the Oilers games to you. Its just when you spout off crap without watching the game by just looking at the box score it makes you look dumb. I just notice it lots with you in particular and other posters have called you on it.
Plus you are quick to complain that the refs don't call enough stuff, but now they shouldn't call legitimate calls late in the period?

So, yeah, "Chia" has already done a lot of bad management.

of course it will....glad you can tel the future
meanwhile, Chia's "bad management" has the Oilers on the verge of home-ice advantage after being in 29th last year
I'll take that "bad management" all the time

That right there is why the Oilers are giving out the free shirts.
They are trying to increase sales of the Orange jersey.
It's not about copying the Dutch who are the originators of Oranjegekte, and the mass wearing of the same color at sporting events.
Its all about the money.

it was so shrewd that he took the job after the Oilers won the lottery and drafted McDavid lol
had they stayed in the three spot it would be 12 years without playoffs and you know it

tucked inside one of the orange t-shirts will be a special envelope for a special lady with an offer to star in a Hollywood movie. you need to report to Katz' box to claim your prize.

No way dude! A fat bank, spray on tan and guy fieri style oakleys make the man. Everyone in EDM knows that.
He also runs errands in a spotless cummins duallie with chrome bull testicles hanging from the trailer hitch, naked twin mud flaps and a "Liquour in the front, poker in the rear" bumper sticker.
