I personally do not want a penny of my tax dollars going to any organization that terminates unborn children. My personal view. When I was young I was pro choice. Then I looked at my sons ultra sound and almost like magic my views have changed. I believe a fetus is life. I believe life is the most precious thing in the universe. There are options for mothers who do not want a baby besides terminating it. Really getting off topic here. I thought I would share my personal experience to give you an idea of where I am coming from.

Which is unfortunate, because if you had read the report, you'd have come across this table which would have answered the earlier question about "what Planned Parenthood actually does".

The quote in your post, which is unattributed, seems to come from an article on teaparty.org. I, for one, am shocked.
Pictured here: what TFF and other hardcore Trump supporters actually see.

Spoiler!

So when you saw your son you realized that you don't want anyone to be able to make life defining choices for themselves?

Was that the same time you decided you would ignore facts and science in favor of your feelings?

If you really think life is the most precious thing in the universe then why does your stance include removing access to the most effective method of reducing abortion numbers, which is access to effective contraception? Something PP provides for 10x more people than abortion.

Abortion rates are at an all time low in the US and PP is part of the reason for that because of all of the other critical services they provide, which you have chosen to completely ignore and gloss over.

I too believe life is precious, which is why I believe removing a service that prevents (not aborts) 600,000 unwanted pregnancies and maternal care is irresponsible. Why do you want to shut down literally the only provider available for pregnant women to get the care that helps them have a healthy child?

You aren't "pro life" if you don't want you tax dollars to fund the services required to stop babies from dying after birth. Is it pro life to strip essential health care that will lead to thousands more deaths?

You're obviously not pro life based on your stance on health insurance. If you believe the poor can die because they can't afford health insurance, you aren't concerned for their life.

Your pro fetus, not pro life. There's a case to be made that abortion is unethical, and I'll listen to that. But to call your stance "pro life" is unquestionably false

He's not even that, he is anti-safe abortion.
Abortion rates are at an all time low. Removing funding from the largest supplier of contraception in the US will not help lower that rate, and it certainly won't help ensure the safety/well being of women who have no real/perceived option other than an abortion when they don't have a safe place to have it done.

Yet you would support funding the military and Trump's increases to funding it, right?

The military has killed pregnant women with air strikes in Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan over the course of 15 years of war (and more). Do those unborn children count too? Or just unborn children that will become US citizens?

Would like to know your positon on this. And yes, this is beyond the abortion debate.

Ryan controls the vote, cannot imagine him letting a vote happen that makes him a massive loser.

Republican House Intelligence Committee chair Devin Nunes abruptly canceled today's open hearings on Trump's Russia involvement without notice or reschedule. Democrats and press are furious and are calling for independent commission. Nunes essentially blew up the investigation because he realized the scope of what he negotiated with Schiff could actually threaten Trump. Holy obstruction of justice.

Quote:
The ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, Adam Schiff, claims its Republican chairman has cancelled an open hearing into Russia's involvement in the 2016 election.

Adam Schiff tweeted that Devin Nunes had "cancelled open Intelligence Committee hearing with Clapper, Brennan and Yates in attempt to choke off public info", referring to former Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates, Director of the CIA John Brennan, and Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, all former Obama administration officials.

In a separate development, Donald Trump’s former campaign chair Paul Manafort has voluntarily agreed to be questioned by the committee regarding alleged ties to Moscow, according to Representative Nunes.

Speaking to reporters on Capitol Hill, Mr Nunes said that Mr Manafort will be questioned by the committee but would not say whether the session would be open or closed.
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/wo...-a7648546.html

To quote some analysts on this.

Quote:
1.) source says Nunes never told committee members he was canceling March 28 open hearing. Members didnt find out until Nunes presser today
2.) House Intel Dems are livid -- calling this second obstruction of the investigation this week by Nunes
3.) Speier tells @jeremyherb that Nunes has to step down

1.) Schiff gives chronology of week: Monday hearing (Comey confirms probe), Tues-Wed Nunes "dead of night excursion" gets docs & keeps private
2.) Schiff: Nunes' actions were "wholly inappropriate" and "cast grave doubts into the ability [of HPSCI] to run a credible investigation."
3.) Schiff says Dems "welcome at any time bringing" Comey and Rogers back for a closed session, but oppose public hearing cancellation.
4.) Schiff: Dems asked Repubs to have C+R brief in open session Tues and do closed hearing if necessary. Says Nunes rejected.
5.) Schiff: "We strongly object to the cancellation of this hearing. We would still urge the majority to reconsider."
6.) Schiff: "I don't know" if WH orchestrated Wednesday's events and leaked docs to Nunes. Says he's disturbed Nunes won't rule it out.
7.) Schiff: "We really do need an independent commission here." Public needs confidence someone has done thorough probe "untainted" by politics.
8.) Schiff: Best option is for us to keep working but set up that independent, 9/11-comission-style body.
9.) Schiff: Nunes doing presser outside WH "important in terms of understanding what's going on here." (Wow.)
