I like Sid but tonight I'm not a fan. I want some more Flames history. This has been too much fun.

The difference in this game is that the Flames tipped 4 or 5 good chances wide

Not the best period, but the Flames still had some decent scoring chances. Crosby is killing us though. Gotta try and limit him somehow. Flames need to be harder on the forecheck and get more physical I think.

Backlund's line can step it up another notch. They've been rolling of late, but were a bit quiet that period.

Boy the Penguins are a good team. As good as the Flames have been of late the Penguins look like too much to handle tonight.

As much as I love Ball and Hrudey, I would pay okish monies to watch a game sans commentary. Just arena noise.

Is this a ####ing joke? The Calgary Flames are playing the Pittsburgh Penguins an amateur hour on Sportsnet is talking about McDavid.

Close game overall. The type of game that could be dramatically different in any direction just because of a bounce or two. Pens are a contending team and the Flames are standing relatively well.

To be fair they're matched against Crosby's line, but Tkachuk did draw a penalty.

Don't curse us Colby - we don't want Crosby breaking out tonight!

Agreed. I think the Flames have skated with them since the clunky start.
Difference so far is a couple bounces and the Pens being more assertive on the power play. Too bad the Flames didn't wake up until after theirs.

That would be sweet! I download Formula 1 torrents throughout the season (cough) and a lot of times they're available with only the ambient sound. It's great!
