Liked the finish to the period after the PP goal by Pitty. Need to be tighter in the 2nd though - can't come out like we have the last few 2nd periods against Pitty or they'll burn us.

In spite of what that city north of us says, and in spite of what the homerific media says, Crosby is truly the best player in the world. No one is close. Flames aren't quitting. Almost got the tying goal there. Go Flames!

Pretty bad period but only down one. Just need to adjust to the Penguins speed. They are way faster than I expected. We can get back into this one.

The Flames' D is having a hell of a time containing that Pens attack. I like Engelland and I think he's actually had a very solid year but that pairing with him and Brodie just isn't working. It was shaky against Winnipeg and they're getting exposed tonight.

Surprised not to see any complaining about the sound in here. The arena noise is definitely cranked up, but it's been swung so far the other way that we can barely hear Ball and Hrudey. Completely out of balance in the other direction now. We have Telus cable, if that matters.

I'm hoping Gulutzen makes some adjustments. I don't feel like they are really shutting down our chances. Flames not a great second period team this season but I feel like they'll stay on the right side of the puck.
