^^The best part of using that meme in this thread is it's politically related, with Senator Patrick Lahey in it.

From what I'm seeing his policies aren't a whole lot different than previous administrations. The wall - one third was already built and Mexico has one with Guatemala, deporting criminals - already happening under Obama, replacing obamacare - probably would of happened under any republican, keystone and other pipelines also would of happened under any republican president.
His presentation is pretty bad but probably 99% of Americans are living their day to day lives the same as they did before the elections. Yes buying a ticket to New York then not being able to go would suck. I got that.
Actually trump has a 42% approval rate. That's higher than Notley 35% approval and Wynne 16% approval. The highest approval of any recent president was JFK at 60% and even that was short lived. Trudeau is at 55%.
I'm trying to understand why this president deserves to be hated as much as he is? What has he done that republicans wouldn't have done anyway?
I know i'm posting in the trump hate on thread so fire away.

It could be the pu$$y grabbing.
Remember that part? Not an accusation (though there have been a few of those) but the man himself admitting that he sexually assaults women. He thinks it's funny.
Kind of monster-y.
His supporters do tend to gloss over that, or just outright ignore it. It would be kind of hard to admit you support someone who admits to doing such a thing, so I get it.

1) Attacking the media and calling them the enemy of the American people.
2) Attacking the judiciary and calling a Federal court judge a so called judge.
3) Constantly lying and attacking people, with false narratives and bold faced lies.
4) Filling his cabinet with terribly unqualified people and billionaires while claiming to be draining the swamp.
5) Using Breitbart and Foxnews as sources for information whether they are purely speculation or not.
6) Not releasing his tax returns ever.
7) 3am tweets with no basis in reality.
8) Tweeting anything as President and being unable to spell.
9) Steve Bannon
10) Wasting $10M a month travelling to the South Whitehouse, while the previous President spent that much annually.
Those are the ones off the top of my head.

Don't forget the murders in Yemen just days after he took power. He just could not wait to pull the trigger.

I'm sure you're all going to change stamps2x's mind, he seems like he's here in a good natured, information seeking role and is definitely not capable of finding out all this information by himself if he chose to.
Yup, just an honest broker asking questions. Phewf, I'm glad we got him all sorted out now. I look forward to his future posts on the matter.

All the Terrifying Things That Donald Trump Did Lately
http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer...-has-done.html
Daily Intelligencer will provide regular inventories of Trump’s assaults on civic norms, common decency, and/or liberal democracy. Here is a rundown of everything the president has done on that front in the period between February 10 (the date of our last edition of “Terrifying Things”) and February 26, arranged in rough order of each affront’s apparent significance and severity. Prior editions can be found below.

Also, very long ties.

Also, scotched taped ties. A billionaire can't afford tie clips. Hmmm.....

CBO says no score on Trumpcare/Dontcare until the 13th. I would think there's no way this could get rammed through before then, but I suppose we shall see.

I'm sure they'll try. In fact they're likely already conspiring behind the scenes about how they're gonna do it.

Holy spin job fail.
Donald J. Trump ✔@realDonaldTrump
122 vicious prisoners, released by the Obama Administration from Gitmo, have returned to the battlefield. Just another terrible decision!
5:04 AM - 7 Mar 2017
However, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence says that 113 of the 122 former detainees who have taken up arms again were released before Obama took office.
"Obviously the president meant in totality, the number that had been released on the battlefield - that have been released from Gitmo since individuals have been released," Spicer told reporters on Tuesday. "That is correct."

I'm in the same boat as stamps2x. Been called out for "not googling" before asking questions. The truth of it is his questions are real questions that he, I, and many Americans have.
Is the media honest? No. Is Trump honest? Definitely not. Trump should be, and he's fighting a bad fight, but he's not wrong about a lot of things he says- he just says them in the worst possible way.
And stamps2x is right to wonder what makes Trump himself so bad when any republican would have done all the same things. Oh, a few alleged Russia scandals? I'll wait to find out some truth about that. Can you trust CNN and Wapo to tell the truth? Or are they pushing their own agenda?
I'm certainly not a huge blind Trump supporter, and it would have been a tough vote for me. I would likely have supported Trump for ####s and giggles. I think he was a better choice than Hillary. Was he a better choice than any other democrat: we'll know in a few years.

I'm honestly struggling to think of "a lot of things" that Trump has said that can't pretty categorically be labeled "wrong". Obviously wrong. He says something demonstrably incorrect multiple times daily.
