Would be nice to see the Oilers fold and miss the playoffs, but with their luck they'd probably win another draft lottery.
Probably better if they make the playoffs and get swept.

Like Oil fans on HF saying teams lie down for the Flames and we face every backup in the league. It's so rich coming from a fan base of a team that was on the verge of setting an NHL record for playoff futility and drafted first overall four times in six years which was unheard of up to that point.

Congratulations Oiler fans. Your beating a team that played a tough game in Calgary last night. Alway get the tired teams. Plus they've played the majority of this game with only 5 defencemen, oh and you haven't had to kill even one penalty. Just award them the cup right now.

It's more the hockey gods doing us a solid than anything the Canucks are doing. Vancouver looks horrible but LA has two own goals and is having trouble scoring on Miller.

Some of the calls have been pretty weak. Yes LA is dominating play so should be drawing some but this is mostly pathetic NHL game management trying to help the losing team.
