Helm scores to make it 3-2 Edm.

Come on Red Wings.

And the fact that 25% of their games are against teams on the 2nd half of back 2 backs

Don't compare points, Calgary is far more balanced
Just to add to this, Flames 10 players double digit goals. Edmonton has 8. Gio is sitting at 9 goals so that should be going to 11 soon.

This x 1000000. They literally play "tired" teams (teams on the second night of back to backs) 19 times this season, almost a quarter of their schedule. That's a joke.

Still can't win more games than they lose 5 on 5 though.

You know the Oilers are winning a game when!

Shucks, you know if only we played as many tired teams.. we might be able to break even.

I wonder how many more losses the Oilers would have if they actually played rested teams once in awhile.

They haven't had a chance to talk trash since they were toddlers. Little Weitz is savouring the moment. He was drinking from his moms tittas the last time the Oilers were relevant.

So I'm working at Craft and intermittently watching the game, All I'm thinking is "why can't the oilers just roll over and die!, the Kings have" ######!

Detroit caught looking Oileresque on the 4-2 goal.

Was this something discussed when the Flames had 20 games against the back to back team compared to the next team (16) ?

I'm also not watching the game tonight but the mental gymnastics some people use to justify things is hilarious.

They're trying to but the league keeps handing them tired teams.

Crap. The Nucks miss a great scoring chance then take a penalty and the Kings score. Starting to get nervous, don't trust Vancouver to hold this lead at all.

You know what's cool, I got my first cell phone just after the Oilers were last relevant.

Flip phone with that T9 typing mode, as it predated the touch keyboard. It had I think a 3 megapixel camera on it. Pretty cutting edge for the time!

Yeah, probably. How could it not be a discussion point?

It's a huge advantage.

Ugh...Detroit is terrible. At least the Canucks look like they're doing us a solid, provided they can hold this lead.
