He gave the puck away needlessly multiple times tonight in his own end and we were damn lucky LA missed burying them. He was useless on the PP and struggles To even gain the zone because he continues to telegraph everything he is going to do.
I hope he turns it around and it was starting to look
Like he was, but tonight was very bad. He was completely lost in his own end. Hopefully it's only a blip on the radar in his return to prior seasons form.

Yes I am a Brodie fan. Yes I am frustrated some games. He makes mistakes as do all players. He has been good since paired with Stone. Stone has bailed out Brodie and Brodie has bailed out Stone. Thats what teammates do.
If you have watched even a single game Brodie has never had to "gain the zone on the PP"
He carries it up the as per the coaches directions ( as much as I hate this play ) and back feeds it to Gaudreau or Versteeg and they carry it to the line and either make a quick pass to the wing or try to continue on into the zone.
Brodie stops on the blueline as the play continues. The first PP Monahan tried to go back to Brodie and it was intercepted. Brodie's fault?
Sure I wish Brodie would shoot more like everyone else. I would also like to see Brodie and Gio together on one unit and have Hamilton by himself on the 1st unit. I miss Gio's onetimers that he can't do when playing the left side with Hamilton. Can't understand why they don't play the opposite sides on the PP so they can onetime a pass.
I would like them to mix it up and switch so whoever is hot or has been having a good game starts the PP not always the same every PP.
You seem to go by what a few other "experts" here say and then you look at the stats line and pow there's your conclusion.
I thought Brodie and Stone have been excellent since the Nashville game.
And over 25 minutes says the coaches do not agree with you as well.
