You seem to have an affinity for Russian players. I am not huge on picking him up as he has been a bust to date but wouldn't be opposed if the cost was cheap. Something like Poirer straight up (also interested in a Porier for Lazar swap)

Signed at $2.5 until the end of next season. I don't see a fit here, unless it's for, like, Bouma and a 5th.

What could it take to get both Kucherov and Johnson? I know the FLames would be the smallest team in the NHL but they would be hands down the most skilled.
Kucherov making $4.3 until 2020 and Johnson as an RFA at years end will get a pay bump from $3.3m.
But if it took Bennett+, would BT do it? Bennett + 1st + Kylington?
Just tossing around ideas..

I think you may get 1 of those players for that. I say stay the course. Benett could be as good as either of those guys not to mention Kylington and the 1st.

Personally I think it's an overpayment for one of those guys but not enough for both. I've never been sold on Tyler Johnson, I'd take a hard pass. Kucherov intrigues me but I don't think landing him will be realistic.
