Is there enough in doubt at this point to just have another election? Kick out both Trump and Pence and have a do-over?

Donald J. Trump ‏@realDonaldTrump
The fake news media is going crazy with their conspiracy theories and blind hatred. @MSNBC & @CNN are unwatchable. @foxandfriends is great!

Saw CNN was trolling FOX, Breitbart and InfoWars this morning, I fully approve

Quote:
While most news outlets gave wall-to-wall coverage of the resignation of his national security adviser on Tuesday, President Donald Trump tried to draw attention to the "real story."

There were at least a couple of outlets, however, that gave ample coverage to what Trump described as the "real story." Fox News, in contrast to its cable news competitors, repeatedly framed Flynn's resignation as a betrayal of trust between the White House and intelligence community.

The tenor was much the same on Breitbart, a vehemently pro-Trump outlet that until August was run by Steve Bannon, now White House chief strategist.

A story published by the site late Monday said that Flynn's resignation "raises troubling questions about the role of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the intelligence services."

The story's author, Breitbart senior editor-at-large Joel Pollak, questioned "whether our nation's intelligence services were involved in what amounts to political espionage against the newly-elected government."

InfoWars, the conspiratorial right-wing outlet that has also been in Trump's corner, described the resignation as "part of an ongoing effort by the military-industrial complex to sabotage President Trump and re-assert control over foreign policy."

I hope it doesn't until most of the people who voted and supported for him feel the damage on a personal level. Those people need to be defeated and humiliated. Defeating Trump doesn't defeat the underlying issue and doesn't prevent them from choosing another "Trump" who is just better at covering up. Toppling Trump just puts people like Pence in power.

Honestly, Trump is a symptom, not the disease. It sucks that other Americans are going to feel it too, but for the long term good, I think things need to bottom out so those other people can see why people like Trump are not the answer.

More great stuff from the Republicans.

Donald J. Trump ‏@realDonaldTrump
This Russian connection non-sense is merely an attempt to cover-up the many mistakes made in Hillary Clinton's losing campaign.

At this rate, I'm not sure Trump makes it to 90 days in office. No one in his administration - himself included - seems to think this is fun anymore.

Flynn is out. KAC looks like she's run out of magical lie juice. Spicer is heading for an embolism. Miller comes across as the type who would gladly truncheon some fealty into your head if he got you in a room alone, tied to a chair. His sudden appearance signals a move from spin to force - a sign of growing desperation and a lack of trust in previous mouthpieces.

Basically what's unfolding is exactly what I would hope for the US. The faster this hits rock bottom the better for them. Just so long as Rick keeps that briefcase away from Trump as the poop hits the fan...

Trumpsters will blame everyone but Trump and team Red for their problems. Even if America hits rocks bottoms because of Trump and the Republicans their minions will only blame outsiders.

I can vouch for this. My cousin's wife, who was very vocally pro-Trump, is completely ignoring any and everything about this Russia story and is still whining about how dangerous people are from the Muslim banned countries and how people just don't get it.

Her father and brother were both in the Army, so you'd think she'd be a little upset about our President putting our armed forces at risk by alienating our allies, screwing over the Iraqis who helped as translators and saved American lives during wartime, etc. But nope, nope. Trump can do no wrong, it's the refugees and protesters that are the real problem here.

It's painful.

I think the only problem with him being removed now is it gives his supporters fodder. They really need his supporters to turn against him before anybody tries to remove him. I am not sure how that will happen though.

Talked to a person this morning at work...a die-hard republican. But a republican that can't stand Trump and wrote in "Kasich" on her ballot. She said I can't do anything about the election but I can make my voice heard so she called the congressional office. The message said they are experiencing higher than normal calls and were not able to answer all inquiries. Then you had a menu to choose from: "Press 1 if it relates to President Trump. Press 2 for all other issues."

Around here you still have the supporters that turn a blind eye to everything but there are many who were vocal during the campaign that have gone completely silent. It's wearing away at people. Another person at work said it best "I don't care if I agree with your policies or not that's what an election is about. But you damn well better treat the job with respect and surround yourself with competent people. If you don't want to be serious and do the job properly then quit." This person voted Trump.
