Donald Trump's staff get him to agree to policies by saying 'Obama wouldn't have done it'
Quote:
Military officials got Donald Trump to agree to the botched Yemen raid by suggesting Barack Obama would never have had the courage to do it, it has been reported.
|
Quote:
Mr Obama had reportedly been told about the plan to kill al Rimi, who took over control of the Yemeni affiliate of the terror organisation in 2015, but held off approving it because his advisors had wanted to wait until a moonless night which would not have happened again till after he left office, the New York Times reported.
But Defence Secretary, General James "Mad Dog" Mattis, and the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Joseph Dunford, reportedly convinced Mr Trump to go ahead with the raid by suggesting Mr Obama would never have been so bold as to actually go through with it.

From the brief exchange it sounds like the senator wants someone to be convicted before the government gets to take all their stuff. The sheriff would probably prefer to continue the current model of "thanks for your stuff".

Looks like the senator is Konni Burton.

I'm not sure why Trump is tweeting at all. As President, he needs to know better. Why doesn't he? Why hasn't any of his staff/family told him to quit it? Maybe he really is so big-headed as everyone says? Or he's just the President so no one has the courage to say something now, lest they be fired?
It's time he got over all this politicking and became an actual President.
There honestly must be better things he could be doing right now, like actually enacting some laws that help people- or clarifying what he's already enacted, or maybe actually reading some briefings. Today is a big court case that will likely smash his most controversial EO.
If he wants the media (and other countries) to start being "fair" to him and America, then he should start by not giving them any more fuel. I'm not sure why he doesn't realize that in order to "make America great again" he first has to make Trump somewhat palatable to the world (especially those in his own country that didn't vote for him!).

Because everyone has told him to stop tweeting. I feel like I should be joking, but I'm pretty sure that's the main reason he does it.

Attacking the media just wasn't good enough for Trump. Living in a fantasy world, where the media is constantly attacking him, is much better.
He is obsessed with his hatred of the media.
Imagine if he spent as much time creating coal jobs as he did obsessing over the crooked media.

Prove it. Other than every single time he acts or opens his mouth what proof do you have? Senator Silky Johnson is more like it. The most diabolical hater this side of the Mississippi.

Devos was just confirmed as Secretary of Education through some sort of "tie breaker" from Pence.
So a creationist is running the education system of a modern country. I wonder if the person who runs the FAA believes in gravity.

Least shocking news all week. The two Republican votes against were purely for show. The spineless conservative revolution lives on!

This is the second or third time you've posted a mocking "prove it" type post, so I know you're just fishing for a retort, but you won't get it.
Because your post is hilarious. I can see it as an actual Trump tweet.
