When the Ayatollah seems a whole lot more sane and rational than the POTUS . . .
http://www.cnn.com/2017/02/07/politi...inkId=34212436
Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said Tuesday that he's grateful to President Donald Trump for showing "the true face of the US.
Khamenei reportedly told the commanders: "We however thank this new guy in the White House, since he largely did the job we had been trying to do in the past decades: to divulge the true face of the US. We had been working to show the world the depth of corruption in US government and ranks and files of the ruling elite; Trump did it in few days after coming to the White House."
He added: "Their claims to human rights are no longer tenable."

Generally I hate the "if *blank*, the terrorists win" rhetoric, but seriously, you want the terrorists to win? Because this is how the terrorists win.
The whole logic of terrorism is that it deeply, emotionally affects your enemy, and you can not only terrify but mentally fatigue a populace. An attempted stabbing that wounds one and barely registers in the media is a failure as a terrorist attack (regardless of whether terrorism was the goal), because it did not achieve the necessary impact. An attempted stabbing that wounds one and receives international coverage for a week is a successful terrorist attack (again, regardless of whether terrorism was the goal), because it caused fear and mental fatigue and potentially shifted priorities of decision-makers.
What we're now going to get is whenever a similar incident occurs, the administration is going to be (literally) shouting "You should be covering that! Why isn't it on the front page?" And the media is going to feel compelled to report on the administration's reaction, even if they gave appropriately minimal coverage to the original incident. So ISIS and Trump both get the coverage that they want out of it... and it should be extremely disturbing to everyone that both Trump and ISIS want the same things out of media coverage of attacks.

This is an excellent way to continue willfully eroding public trust in journalism. Definitely the actions of a reasonable administration. Let's make sure we endeavour to discuss the irrationality of this administration with reason and calmness, so we can politely examine our path to ruin.

Gorka also sparred with a caller who contended that "every time you call everything fake news, it just turns everyone except your hardcore fans off."
"Not everything's fake news," the caller added.
"You know, I would beg to differ," Gorka shot back. "Every single organ that generates these kinds of stories comes from the same clique of media organs that predicted that Hillary (Clinton) would win and that Brexit wouldn't occur. I know what fake news is. And it's coming from those organizations. It's time that you yourself understood that as well."

Either you praise the leader or you're a liar. There is no middle ground. Yes, reasonable.

Trump is whining like a 13 year old girl now.
"But Obama did something, and everyone hates me, it's so unfair"

Hahaha this is ridiculous, even if he's joking (and given his extraordinary history of pettiness, it's safe to assume he's not joking)
Edit: Here's the clip. They assume he's joking, he looks pretty serious.

Thats something too, he seems to make mention of things not being 'fair' a lot. Why does he think things are supposed to be fair?

Sorry sir, Duffman if I may, do you have some evidence (links perhaps?) that Trump is, in fact, a 13 year old girl?
We must fight against these irrational claims!

This is a lie. My child associates with 13 year old girls and I've never once heard them complain about Obama. Stop with your baseless attacks on Donald just because it's the thing to do. Just say he's whining, simile does nothing to help your cause.

Oh Yeah, you guys just wait, there's this new thing coming out soon, maybe you've heard of it, it's called the internet. Once it is up and running, Trump will prove himself to be just what I said he is.

I think he'd mad about the state senator wanting there to be a conviction before asset forfeiture.

USA -----> North Korea
http://www.cnn.com/2017/02/07/politi...ews/index.html
Sebastian Gorka, deputy assistant to President Donald Trump, said Monday that the administration will continue using the term "fake news" until the media understands that their "monumental desire" to attack the President is wrong.
"There is a monumental desire on behalf of the majority of the media, not just the pollsters, the majority of the media to attack a duly elected President in the second week of his term," Gorka, a former Breitbart editor who also holds a PhD in political science, told syndicated conservative radio host Michael Medved.
"That's how unhealthy the situation is and until the media understands how wrong that attitude is, and how it hurts their credibility, we are going to continue to say, 'fake news.' I'm sorry, Michael. That's the reality," he added.
