There's also a bunch of CEOs considering suing the administration over one executive order. I'm sure some will be very happy with Trump handouts but that is all they are there for. The handout that protects them from the potential losses of international business or increased costs. Many companies will smile for the cameras. Not every company works that way and some have been strongly critical of things so far.

They spin more things than a DJ. It's really annoying. They can't just answer a direct question. Instead they just flood you with a ton of words to distract you.

Predict the next Trump tweet:
"Norstrom is a terrible company.. absolutely horrible"
Nordstrom to drop Ivanka Trump's clothing, accessories line
http://www.cp24.com/entertainment-ne...line-1.3269453
"The move comes amid a weekslong campaign known as "Grab Your Wallet," which has been calling for a boycott of retailers that carry Ivanka Trump or Donald Trump merchandise. In November, Nordstrom posted a response on Twitter to a shopper's letter calling for the company to stop selling the brand, saying, "We hope that offering a vendor's products isn't misunderstood as us taking a political position; we're not.""

They are actively annoying the Fortune 500 companies with the highly nationalistic rhetoric and actions. These are companies have a footprint all around the world to the point the US is not the major market. They have the ability to transition elsewhere. The question is can the EU and other countries get it together to capitalize on it.
|
Why the EU? Why not Canada?
We have no excuse for not being able to take advantage of the incompetence down south.

We have no excuse but we won't. Plus, I'm not sure I'd want our country to be part of any large scale exodus of anything from the US, be it jobs, companies, people, etc. Americans are some of the most patriotic people in the world and the US is the leader of the free world.
Anything we get from them is pulling out in the same numbers when things change favorably south of the border and that could cripple us if we had come to rely on their people/companies.

I'm fairly certain that melding Donald Trump and Pink Floyd together is one of the highest degrees of sacrilege possible. In fact, it may even be one of the signs of Apocalypse.

winning at losing
Quote:
A majority, 53%, disapprove of the way the President is handling his job, according to a new CNN/ORC poll, marking the highest disapproval for a new elected president since polls began tracking those results. Trump is the only President to hold a net-negative rating this early in his tenure.
Overall, 44% approve of the way he's handling the job, seven points below the previous low-point of 51%. Further, the share who disapprove "strongly" of Trump's work as president is nearly as large as the total block who approve, 43% feel intensely negative about Trump. Partisanship is the sharpest divider in opinions on Trump (90% of Republicans approve vs. 10% of Democrats).
Trump's high disapproval most clearly differentiates his ratings from those of his predecessors. While Ronald Reagan's first approval rating measure of 51% from Gallup in 1981 was not that far above Trump's 44% now, Reagan's disapproval number was far lower than Trump's (13% to 53%). And George W. Bush, the last president to be elected without capturing the popular vote, held a far more positive 57% overall approval rating in February of his first year in office, with just 25% disapproving.

at least Trump is familiar with bankruptcy, so sending America into a recession should be something he is comfortable with.

Yeah, it's worth noting that much of the stock market gains since the election has been due to bank stocks going up in anticipation of less oversight over their activities. From what I understand, Goldman Sachs alone is responsible nearly 1/4 of the increase in Dow Jones since November 8th.
