I find it hard to believe a bunch of cops didn't know who Subban is. I'm not even saying you're lying. I legit just find that to be hard to fathom. And a table full of hockey players? They didn't recognize anybody?

I'm assuming only way there would be tweets is if a story was made about it. I'm also assuming most of the people surprised don't get out much downtown. Usually later in the week a group of 2 or more cops will patrol the bars and restraunts looking for people not allowed in. They do heavily profile as most of the people are ethnic and/or tattooed. I'm sure a lot of the younger posters in here have seen it or have been Id'd themselves.

I live right by where the shooting in Kensington was tonight and there were like 9 cop cars parked on the road zig zagged all around with no cops in sight. I had to slowly drive around each car to get home. Was really weird.

and you're assuming that high profiled hockey players, especially ones who travel with a good number of their teammates, dont get noticed in public.

If Subban was being hassled by our CPS, at least one other patron, an employee or teammate would have this on twitter or social media, gaurenteed

in this day and age, if there was a public instance of racial profiling with someone famous, it wouldn't stay quiet.

This is ridiculous to me:

An online poll has found that a majority of Calgary police officers want the head of their union to remain in his position, in spite of the criminal charges he is currently facing.

Mike Lomore, vice-president of administration with the Calgary Police Association, said members confirmed through the poll that they want recently elected Les Kaminski to continue as head of the association.

The poll comes after the Alberta Serious Incident Response Team announced last week that two Calgary police officers, including Kaminski, have been charged in connection with an arrest during a 2008 traffic stop.

Getting membership to vote in actual union elections is like pulling teeth, hence why you get a winner like this guy in place I suppose.

Definitely not joking on what I heard. Wasn't there in person so can't provide more info than what I heard but according to my friend and his server apparently he might be making a stink about it, so we will see.

Just saw these posts and can't comment on if they demanded ID.. but can back up the claim Subban and others were there that night. The girlfriend and I walked in sometime around 4:30 (give or take) just as three gang suppression officers were walking out.
