Being "forced" to work the cap around star players is what all the Stanley Cup contenders do. It's a problem for sure, but the top end teams have the top end players and McDavid is right near the top with the possibility of being at the top in the near future.

Did you even read what I said? the comment was about the Oilers being a one line team...they will be even more so in a couple years IMO
They have him now for 3M and in two years it will likely be 12M...obviously that effects the teams depth

Solid period by the Flames with a few good scoring chances. Talbot is playing really well. Just gotta keep pressuring them and putting pucks on net.
Outside of the McDavid line, the Oilers look below average at best.
