Oilers a top heavy team. They will go where Talbot and McDavid take them. Long term I like Calgary's balance better. We have some great players spread over several lines #19 is just icing on the cake.

lol, I'm down for all the usual Oiler bashing but this upcoming contract thing is pretty silly on our part. You want the guys who are in line to earn with the top players as that means they are likely a top player.....
Being "forced" to work the cap around star players is what all the Stanley Cup contenders do. It's a problem for sure, but the top end teams have the top end players and McDavid is right near the top with the possibility of being at the top in the near future.
