They actually did book a Springsteen tribute band for the inauguration ball, lol. In fact, tribute/cover bands are the only acts they could get apparently.

The 19 January Garden State Gala at the Washington Court Hotel, which will be chaired by New Jersey Governor and Trump supporter Chris Christie, has just landed its headliner: The B Street Band. If that doesn't ring a bell, it's because The B Street Band is a Bruce Springsteen tribute act.

To add to the humiliation of having to book a covers band, Springsteen is hugely anti-Trump.

"When you let that genie out of the bottle - bigotry, racism, intolerance, they don't go back in the bottle that easily if they go back in at all," he commented at the start of the year.

The B Street Band aren't the only tribute band at the inauguration festivities, with the All American Ball featuring a performance from 80s cover band The Reagan Years.

Trump has met Steve Harvey and Kanye. Meanwhile he sends Omarosa to meet veterans groups. Nothing wrong with that...

I'm actually surprised it took them that long to ask Toby Keith.

Voight will perform "Deliverence" the musical.

Nope but if bullying is going on, which some has suggested - it's wrong

That is the definition of being a bigot

I'm not sure how not buying something is intolerant. Are you saying literally all boycotts are bigoted?

Also Merriam-Webster disagrees:

Quote:
Definition of bigot
: a person who is obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices; especially : one who regards or treats the members of a group (as a racial or ethnic group) with hatred and intolerance

We've really circled all the way back around to the "you're being intolerant of my intolerance" argument again huh?

Trump, who’s hated by most musicians in America, has finally put together a lineup for an inauguration concert and it includes butt rockers 3 Doors Down. lol.

The rest of the lineup includes Toby Keith, Jon Voight, Jennifer Holliday, DJ Ravidrums, The Piano Guys, Tim Rushlow, Larry Stewart, Marty Roe, and Lee Greenwood. The concert is called “The Make America Great Again! Welcome Celebration” and it happens on January 19 at the Lincoln Memorial.

Well, this has never been more appropriate.

Didn't even notice that... also, though, I did notice that the counter-Inauguration features Abby Martin, in light of which I'd much prefer to be subjected to the horror of a 3 Doors Down and Toby Keith concert.

Granted, there are no good options here.
