Well, as long as 'Russia' says nothing exists that's proof enough for me.
So while Trump makes a fool of himself and his picks look questionable in their Congressional hearings, the House and Senate have also been busy.
At a 1:30am vote, the Senate voted to repeal the ACA, including many provisions they insisted were safe (keeping kids on their parents' insurance until 26, protection for those with pre-existing conditions, no co-pay birth control). This would leave millions without coverage, including many who depend on it to survive.
Meanwhile, the House is trying to pass a budget that would explode the deficit up over 9 trillion dollars over the next decade. (Last year's budget would have added 1+ trillion over that time, by comparison)
But no, let's talk about how the GOP is the fiscally conservative party, and the morally upstanding party. Nothing like exploding the debt and taking health care from sick people to prove it.

Now I don't live in US America, so it's pretty difficult to encounter this first hand. But I keep reading about it often enough that it shows that Americans are at best ignorant of politics, or at worst as stupid as many other peoples of the world think.

Uber driver this a.m. asked why Senate was up last night trying to get rid of ACA, which he likes, rather than Obamacare, which he doesn't

Arizona takes steps to ban any course or event at a public college/school that teaches about race, ethnicity, privilege, solidarity, social justice, etc. Of course, this doesn't include the Holocaust because Arizona has a surprisingly high Jewish retiree population (which included my grandparents back in the day).
Republicans doing everything they can to erase the last 20 years of progress.

And the Democrats remain leaderless and rudderless, with no ability to take advantage of the opening the GOP will give them for 2018. Dems can easily take the House if they'd just get it together.

Man, he really enjoys putting that word in quotes. Go ahead, Trump. Keep baiting them. I'm sure your little war with the Intelligence community will go well for you.
Haha, he's still not finished his Twitter meltdown. Now he's back to whining about Hillary again.

Trump: Who are you talking about, Russian people, A.J.? I don’t know anything.
Benza: He used to call me when I was a columnist and say, “I was just in Russia, the girls have no morals, you gotta get out there.” [Trump’s] out of his mind.
This one (nothing to do with Trump) is a bit concerning.
The bill, called the REINS Act, requires that any future major regulation adopted by an Executive Agency—say a new toxic chemical standard required by the recently enacted Chemical Safety Act, or a new consumer protection rule about some innovative but untested kind of food additive—must be approved by a specific resolution in each House of Congress within 70 days to take effect.
To give a sense of the scale of this road-block, in 2015 there were 43 such major federal regulations passed to protect the public; among them were food safety regulations, the Clean Power Plan regulating pollution from electrical generating facilities, net neutrality rules protecting the internet from monopoly, restrictions on predatory lending and energy efficiency standards for appliances.
If the REINS Act had been in effect, it unlikely that the Tea Party dominated Republican caucus in the House would have approved of any of these rules. Future standard setting under the entire body of legislation enacted over the past 40 years to protect the public, from the Clean Air Act to the Dodd Frank financial sector reforms, would be frozen. Over time, as new health, safety, consumer and labor protection issues arise, all of these laws will effectively have been repealed, with no public debate and no accountability. It will also be impossible to restore them as long as the REINS Act is in effect, because by requiring Congress to approve every regulation, it makes it impossible to pass technically complex and scientifically valid rules on any topic of controversy.
...
Even if the House Republican caucus was willing in theory to consider such rules, there is simply no way Congress could add 10-40 new pieces of legislation to its work load in the chemical safety area alone. In fact, the House also just passed legislation to allow it to REPEAL all of President Obama's regulatory acts in the last eight months of his term in office with one vote. Why? Because House members said there was not time for individual votes on each rule—exactly the requirement they just established for new rules.
...
Progressives may be counting on the fact that the Senate has previously refused to pass the bill and that it's broad over-reaching will doom it. But these are not ordinary times and past behavior is far from reliable in predicting today's politics.
