Johnny was at Peppino's in Kensington eating a bowl of soup for lunch by himself today.
Kind of like Ben Wyatt. Poor Johnny.
I would have assumed he travelled with the team, but I guess not.

I asked a sportsnet reporter via Twitter message about Johnny's status on the road trip:
"Heard today he is NOT going on this trip at all. Starting to rehab already"
So I guess, maybe not so bunk.

Seems like rehabing a finger could be done anywhere once you know the stretches you were supposed to do.

Could be. Regular x-rays and visits to surgeon/specialists simpler at home, though.

Johnny must be pretty proud of how the boys are playing. Probably anxious to get back asap. Can't imagine he'd have a lot to do around Calgary other than taking skates and er..finger rehabbing.
Maybe making some Ikea trips to furnish his new place he supposedly scouted out after the contract? And soup lunches at Peppinos.
