Do you live in her constituency? If not, your scrote has nothing to do with the conversation.
If you can't see the issue with an MLA that was elected as a PC crossing the floor to the NDP and how that would make constituents upset, then you are truly just trolling this thread and I would tend to think your political stance in this thread is just for trolling purposes.

See his posting history on political issues. You don't need to "think" that.

Sandra Jansen was totally predictable. Now the next prediction: She's going to get a prominent cabinet position in the next shuffle.
From a week and a half ago:

The PC party under Kenny will no longer fit the definition of progressive so if she can see that she doesn't stand a chance of winning the leadership then she can rally behind a PC establishment candidate who best can fend off Kenney ala Starke
Outcome #2 - She can leave the PC party completely and join the NDP. She can use her version of what happened on the weekend of further evidence that the PC party has 'abandoned the centre' to benefit her re-alignment.
She doesn't strike me as someone who's ambitions would leave her comfortable being a government backbench MLA (which is all she would be in a Jason Kenny led PC government) or serving very long in opposition (which is probably what moving to the Liberals or Alberta Party would mean for her). So if she doesn't think she can win the PC leadership then her Plan A would be to rally around Starke, and if he wins, he owes her one and she would stand to be a cabinet minister again. If he loses, then she can leave the party and cross to the NDP who could benefit from her defection and make her an obvious choice to be named a cabinet minister there.

The WRP floor crossers also had a legitimate political reason to flip. They felt Prentice was the leader to unite/lead the right and moved to directly support him. I won't pretend they didn't also benefit professionally, as Jansen will in the short term, but her switch being so personally driven will ensure she is never elected in this province again.

He just likes to think he's really funny and smart.
He is neither.
As once was directed my way...he has become nothing but a caricature as have many on that side of the spectrum.

Completely self-interested (Which is totally ok, just not ok when she tries to use virtue as a political weapon). While I'm sure she didn't get treated well at the PCAA because she's never actually been conservative, it was in her interest to amplify her victim-hood and orchestrate the political stunt in front of the famous 5 statues downtown with the help of her friend Naidoo-Hill who ran for the federal Liberals with whom she helped campaign for in the last federal election to aid her NDP transition. She's not willing to work hard to build a true 'centrist' party with the ALP or Alberta Party that would ideologically align better with the Redford PC's she sat with, she just wants to rail about 'all the right people' while collecting a cabinet minister's check. Shameful

Ah I see. So "suck it up and take your harassment like a man" is the answer.
Nice to see the circlejerk is still alive and well in this thread.

If something is not done, we are headed to a two party system. I don't like that scenario.

I don't know Sandra Jansen but is it possible that the PC Party under Prentice that she initially ran under is no longer the same PC Party potentially under Jason Kenney?
Maybe she feels like the party is the one abandoning their principles by courting the social conservatives of the Wild Rose?
Is that in the realm of possibility or are we sure that she's been running a 30 year con-game as a secret leftist plant in the PC party?

Sure, that is entirely plausible. And if she felt uncomfortable and bullied or things like that she is fully in her rights and should leave. I don't think that anyone would dispute that.
The reality is though, she didn't just leave to sit as an independent; she went straight over to the party that just a week or two ago she was campaigning to lead the fight against.
I think that there are really two issues here. Should she have stayed. Probably not. Did she have to go to another party? No.

Was she campaigning to lead the fight against the NDP, or was she campaigning for the PC leadership position?
