I don't think they could survive deleting negative reviews.

Anyways, good chance I'll be hearing from CTV soon based on what my friend who is friends with one of the consumer report people is telling me. Fingers crossed.

Rooting for you.
This is just 3rd world kinda work.
Had a similar, but not as catastrophic issue with Jagger Homes (please stay away from them), bug them till no end, until they give in.
I hope CTV picks up your story and Truman is publicly shamed.

So I called ANHWP to confirm exactly what they told me yesterday and yeah, I heard right the first time. This is what I got from them (####ING HORSE ####):

Because the building permit was pulled before Feb 1st 2014, it is exempt from the extended 2 year coverage for plumbing, heating and electrical systems.

How ####ing awesome is that? Ugh I shouldn't have called them again, just makes my blood boil hearing that again.

It's crazy that some of the appliances in your home have a longer warranty than the home itself.

I don't see how that's their fault. Clearly you have several parties you should be mad at but they aren't one of them.

What I'd like to know is why there is only a 2 year warranty on plumbing. Should be 5 years minimum.

Politicians looking out for the little guy and no way beholden to the construction and developer lobby.

Yeah I agree but it's the way it was when you bought the condo. Changing it for the future is what should happen but no matter how many times you call them their old rules aren't going to change.

I still think this should directly go back to the original plumber who installed your sink. Get that information and sue them.

Nope. I have a pamphlet from ANHWP in my Possession date binder saying I'm covered for 2 years for Plumbing, Electrical and Heating systems.

Truman ####ed up again and put pamphlets that didn't apply to my building in the possession day binders.

I will go after them once I get a report on damages and everything like that.

Well that's a pretty open and shut case if you still have those pamphlets.

That's what I was telling the guy from Truman but he refused to acknowledge that the sink is part of the plumbing distribution system.

Sounds like it includes everything but the kitchen sink.

Who is your insurance through? If they will not even look into something like this then I want to make sure that I stay away from them.
