Sure. And 28 of those teams have a better record than the Flames do right now.

Here's the thing:
When you consider current results and direction (which is a combination of short-term and long-term roster management + coaching staff hires + drafting priorities) it is reasonable to think that the Burke and Treliving deserve serious criticism.

Yes, the Flames will get some bad money off the books after this tire fire of a season. Are you going to be able to trust them to make the best decisions with that space? I'm not so sure.

I went outside to have a smoke and just to summarize this evening a drunk guy stumbles up to me and tells me that he's going to break into his friends apartment. I told him its a bad idea, an outright stupid idea and the guy throws a punch at me. Can you believe it. Now it was a drunk guy punch and he hit me in the shoulder and my arm is now numb. But the stupid thing is that he takes the swing, I don't go down and he gets that oh shyte look on his face and takes off running so I didn't even get the satisfaction of pummeling him while yelling damn you Calgary Flames this is all your fault. And now I have a huge bruise on my shoulder.

I hate the Flames and my neighbourhood right now.

Aside from being shutout, the flames are doing alright...the rangers are averaging 4.14 goals per game. Hold them to 4 and call it a moral victory?

I whole heartedly agree.

I think he would've figured it out with this goalie tandem. But Brad decided to make his coaching "stamp" on the team when only worse options were available. The guys on the fan said it at the time, they didn't believe any options aside from Boudreau who was snatched up would be even lateral moves.

Don't we have league worst goaltending this year as well?

We can blame the coach and goalies all we want but when Bennett is your second line Center and Chiasson is your first line RWer and this team is once against last in goals against then it's time to look past the goalies and just the coach.
