No he didn't. He needed a team without abysmal goaltending. Funny how Gio/Brodie/Monahan/Gaudreau had career years with Hartley and now look like trash with Gulutzan.

This is the worst time to make a trade as the team would be selling low. At this point you ride out the season with this team and hope the next coach can get the team's best players playing like they did pre-Gulutzan.

2 years ago when we were down two goals, was anyone worried? No, you knew the 3rd period would have a great push and they could get it done. This year? Might as well do something else.

I agree they were deflated. I think they are trying but aren't in shape.

At this point a potted plant could do a better job of coaching. Team has no energy, flow, consistency.

Because, and I'm not saying this on hyperbole, it's easy to score against the flames. No one is close over the last two years.

We can blame one of the 4 goalies last year, or the two this year, but fact is it's easy

You know things are bad when a Ravens vs Browns Thursday night game is starting to look like an appealing alternative.

I don't care what anyone says, it is the coaching. Why was Jordan Sigalet retained? Why was Martin Gelinas retained? And for the love of God, Brad, It is clear to anyone with eyes that Gulatzan is not the right coach for this group of players!!!!

I'm a firm believer in just letting your best players play their game. I think Gulutzan is out-thinking himself and trying to make them be players they're not. Just let them do their thing. They're pros, hockey is a pretty simple game. They'll be fine.

I was referring to the clips of Pavelski et al that were shown at the end of the period with forwards shooting and finding the back of the net.

Lol, it's 7-6 in the third. That's probably the only thing less appealing right now.
