I suppose there will be no concession/victory speeches tonight any more given both candidates are in the eastern time zone.

I was convinced Trump had no chance of winning this. Zero. There will be a lot written about this in the days to come.

I think John King really wants to call this. He knows we all know.

the Canadian dollar is dependent on Oil, which is down, and our biggest export market just elected a protectionist who wants to tear up trade deals.

Canada is going to get fisted.

Given how little stock I hold, I'm a bit excited to get on the horn. Recovery will be swift though.

I would say his was more extreme, had more emotion. And fear.

I think he was low on facts (that's a compliment), but he played on emotions. And it worked. It was pretty much a fact-free election. Just get people to feel something.

She had a message, but I think to many it was boring, or the same old. Even if it was better for everyone in general.

The worst part about all of this is we have to sit through another Trump election in four years.

Doesn't matter, media coverage of Clinton was basically about her emails, many more time given to her emails than all other messages she had combined.

Hillary Clinton has some serious health problems. It is no wonder she wont show up to Head Quarters and needs her disgraced Campaign manager to fill in for her.

The ironic thing is that when people get scared, they go into US treasuries which strengthens the US$ against almost all currencies; even if the scary thing is in the US.

thats correct and you can expect that the Canadian government will start to hurry up the old Asian pipeline and export movement.

No worries invest it in housing. There will be lots of Americans looking to move to Canada. I predict a huge real estate and building uptick in Canada as a result of a Trump presidency.
