Well at least Trump is ending his campaign with the same divisive rhetoric that he started with. Something to be said for consistency. Bat #### crazy consistency but consistency nonetheless.
Man I don't know if it makes me a bad person, but I want Trump to lose just so Conway goes away almost as much as I want Trump to lose because he'd be among the worst world leaders ever.
Trump at least seems honest in his delusions, narcissism, and bottomless void of desire for approval.

I think Trump needs to lose and I would prefer a big electoral vote loss because the GOP needs to actually evaluate how they do things. They didn't implement any changes based on the last embarassing loss so maybe a second would do it.
I'd like to see a significant popular vote margin as well but I doubt we'll see as big of one as we should if Clinton wins. Far too much voting along party lines. I would accept people voting for neither candidate but I can't for the life of me figure out people actually voting for Trump.

Trump said earlier that he was honored five years ago as “Man of the Year” in Michigan. Anyone know what that;s in reference to?

If this is fake, it's amazing - he talked in detail about the acceptance speech he delivered upon winning

After the Romney loss there was talk of revamping the GOP and moving more in line to appeal to minorities and moderates. Instead, they went the other direction in the extreme.

Because they lost control of their voters. If they had the choice, and were actually in control, it would be Bush or Rubio as the candidate.
There must be quite a few expats living in Kingston as well (it is essentially a border town), because I have seen Clinton signs on quite a few yards in some very specific parts of the city. I haven't seen any Trump signs thankfully.

It really isn't up the "GOP" to implement changes---it is up to the voters. And based on what has occurred so far, the voters who actually vote (as opposed to voters who claim that they will vote, but who actually don't) appear to be okay with the GOP's nominee.

The last thing I want to see is a landslide (or anything close to it) that Clinton can use to claim that she has some sort of mandate from the people. Something like 75% of the nation distrusts her, and a sizeable portion of her voters are not voting for her but against the other guy(s).
My dream: a close electoral split with the popular vote total in favor of Trump (or, alternatively, in favor of Trump + Johnson + the Utah guy).
I can see your point. However, if the election is very close it will give the GOP even more excuses to obstruct, not that they've ever needed an actual reason.
edit- just re-read what you said, and you're hoping for a Trump victory? Weird.

Sure, there are a lot of people voting her who don't really like her. But on the other hand, most of her voters are good with her platform, and would like to see the country moving in the direction she is proposing.
