Ok assuming that you were in fact serious.

1) Podesta probably isn't a satanist. The idea that he is is based completely that he was invited to dinner (a normal dinner) with a performance artist that's done some wacky things. There's not even any indication that he accepted the invitation. But in typical fashion people are losing their (demonstrably weak) minds. If I am invited to have a hamburger with the band KISS, that doesn't make me a satanist.

2) Podesta isn't running for office. Clinton doesn't take on the religion of someone who works for her, religion doesn't rub off or get transmitted by sneezing, despite what some apparently think.

3) Satanism as a religion is fine. It doesn't believe in a supernatural Satan, Satan is a concept about embracing rationality and rejecting supernaturalism and arbitrary authority. The tenants of The Satanic Temple sound pretty good to me:

- One should strive to act with compassion and empathy towards all creatures in accordance with reason.
- The struggle for justice is an ongoing and necessary pursuit that should prevail over laws and institutions.
- One’s body is inviolable, subject to one’s own will alone.
- The freedoms of others should be respected, including the freedom to offend. To willfully and unjustly encroach upon the freedoms of another is to forgo your own.
- Beliefs should conform to our best scientific understanding of the world. We should take care never to distort scientific facts to fit our beliefs.
- People are fallible. If we make a mistake, we should do our best to rectify it and resolve any harm that may have been caused.
- Every tenet is a guiding principle designed to inspire nobility in action and thought. The spirit of compassion, wisdom, and justice should always prevail over the written or spoken word

4) The idea of satanists that kill babies and stuff isn't real, it was made up by the Christian church.
