The democrats have lost control of the news cycle over the last week, they need to get Jake Tapper back on.
This is happening quite literally in real time, CNN was ready to show a Clinton Campaign stop in Florida and it took up the whole screen, then they began adding talking heads speaking about the emails until Clinton only had a quarter of the screen.

Due to recent developments, I am writing to supplement my previous testimony. In connection with an unrelated case, the FBI has learned of the existence of emails that appear to be pertinent to the investigation. I am writing to inform you that the investigative team briefed me on this yesterday, and I agreed that the FBI should take appropriate investigative steps designed to allow investigators to review these emails to determine whether they contain classified information, as well as to assess their importance to our investigation,"

That's from the FBI Director, James Comey. Seems that they had stopped investigating and are now investigating again. I would consider that re-opening, is there something I'm missing?

Semantics. This *could* turn out to be tremendously serious for the Clinton campaign.

The CP Clinton spin-doctors are either hard at work trying to figure out how to change the topic and explain this away or they are pretending nothing has actually happened.
Seriously, this is very bad for Clinton. It basically boils down to her appeal being "Trump is so bad that you should vote for someone under investigation by the FBI."

Wait, YOU'RE dismissing a semantic argument?
And it *could* you are correct. It *could* just as easily amount to little more than some noise until the next big story drops about Trump. These are emails from someone else not on her server. Accuse me of spinning all you like, the initial furor over this has already subsided

Because most people are complacent, dumb, and partisan. This is a really serious issue to pop up only 2 weeks before election day in a campaign that has been basically been Clinton trying to prove she is more than just a corrupt powerbroker.

I'd vote for someone indicted by the FBI, convicted by the courts, and currently residing in jail before I would vote for Donald Trump. He is that bad of a candidate.

I don't think it is an either/or. You can write in a candidate, you can vote for a third-party, you can spoil your ballot.
I will repeat my long-standing position, which is that both candidates are very bad, and will each bring their own laundry list of negative traits to the office.

In the two party system it is an either/or. Third party candidate numbers are predictably falling into the low single digits as we get closer to election time. This election may be the record though for voting against someone rather than voting for someone.

So keep your pride intact, and do something else. Don't vote. Both of these candidates are awful.

Is this allowed? I thought this thread was strictly going to be pro-clinton.
I'm so confused. Who should I support?

They're both such terrible options for President. The US would almost be better off picking a citizen at random

Not sure how much pride one can have when refusing to participate. That would definitely keep my pride intact, knowing I let others make my decision for me.

Well you would have to be suffering from Female Hysteria to consider voting for an, ugh, woman.

Panel on CBC a few minutes ago agreed that it's highly unlikely that we'll know all the facts regarding these emails before election day, which means this will stay in the news cycle every single day until it gets resolved. The Clinton campaign is gonna have to spin the hell out of this if she wants to maintain her current lead. Even if these emails turn out to be nothing, these last 11 days are gonna be pretty rough on the Dems.
This is clearly the best thing to happen to Trump's campaign since this whole nightmare began, and no doubt the Republicans are gonna run this story into the ground from here on out.
