They'll still see her as the better of the two options. If the private email server (which these are not even from) was going to prevent them from voting they'd already not be voting.

Want to bet?

I'll give you 10 to 1 odds. If you lose, you have to donate to the Clinton foundation. If I lose, I'll donate to which ever charity you like.

You're bad at this. Like, you gotta give the impression that you really, truly believe in your heart of hearts what you are saying, otherwise you catch no fish with your non-passionate bait.

You should be asking Alpine Fisher for odds, I bet you could get at least 3:1 the other way.

Missed value there

DoJ Complaint Filed Against FBI Head James Comey

Quote:
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Washington, D.C. - October 28, 2016 - The Democratic Coalition Against Trump filed a complaint with the Department of Justice Office of Professional Responsibility on Friday against FBI Director James Comey for interfering in the Presidential election, following the FBI’s decision to open up an investigation into Secretary Clinton’s emails this close to Election Day. Federal employees are forbidden from participating in political activities under the Hatch Act.

“It is absolutely absurd that FBI Director Comey would support Donald Trump like this with only 11 days to go before the election,” said Scott Dworkin, Senior Advisor to the Democratic Coalition Against Trump. “It is an obvious attack from a lifelong Republican who used to serve in the Bush White House, just to undermine her campaign. Comey needs to focus on stopping terrorists and protecting America, not investigating our soon to be President-Elect Hillary Clinton.”

Heh, granted

But really I don't usually like to bet. Wanted to make it obvious I'm just baiting him.

Sadly, this is true. Best thing for Clinton right now is for this to disappear quickly, but that's probably wishful thinking. No doubt Trump will be all over this until election day just to try and keep it in the news. The interesting thing will be how the Dems try and spin it. These last 11 days are gonna be nuts.

Only if he could get someone to escrow the wager. Absent that I figure the most likely payout would be zero (since I doubt Alpine would follow through).

Besides this is CalgaryPuck... if you're gonna make a bet make it a pube bet.

honestly, this 're opening of the case' is just 'smoke and mirrors' from the FBI, to make it look like they are actually trying to do their jobs.

They won't find any incriminating evidence. If anything, the investigation will vindicate Hillary.

Basically Hillary's campaign team will use the angle of "Hey we were investigated TWICE! And still they found we did nothing illegal. Proper investigative procedures were followed. There were no bribes paid to the FBI's lead investigators wife for her campaign for the Senate"

Meanwhile Trump will continue to makes the lives of the women around him miserable. The circle is complete.

And he makes a hard left from "Trump wins" to "Hillary did this and bribed people". Folks you can't make this stuff up. Unless you're literally making things up. In which case you should make up something better than bribery for a Senate campaign.

Can someone please make a poll for this thread on "who do you think will win the election?"

I can't believe there hasn't been one already.

Currency shorters. Tons will be made regardless who wins, and they'll be the biggest winners.

View from another message board:

Quote:
Comey knows that Hillary is going to win reelection. He knows that Rs in the House will very likely rake him over the coals in endless Benghazi like hearings. Comey testified under oath to Congress that he would reopen--or at a minimum reconsider--the investigation should he get additional information. He also testified that if there is a referral from Congress regarding Clinton's untruthful disclosure to FBI that he could open an investigation vis her FBI interview

Somebody in the know dropped some emails in the FBIs lap recently. (Part of the Weiner investigation maybe, I'm not buying it) This puts Comey in a box. He testified under oath that he would relook at things if more information comes to light--so basically he's in legal trouble (perjury allegation) if he doesn't.

Further, if he didn't send the letter he sent today, he would be accused of political collusion with the Clintons. He's covering his ass. Plain and simple. He has bristled at the allegation that he is acting in a partisan way, and this (nothing-burger) letter is his attempt to get back to some type of perceived neutrality in advance of his anticipated testimony to Congress. Imagine if he didn't send the letter. You can just see Gowdy screaming at him, "So you had these additional emails and you kept them a secret until AFTER the election!"
