It's the little details.

You mean the Carrera who struck out? Those little details?

Congrats to the Indians, timely hitting and a lethal bullpen is a great way to win the World Series.

I'm not arguing that Cleveland had a better approach (I don't think they actually did. Both teams had the same approach and 1 guy who basically hit in Lindor and JD) BUT

Your point was they manufactored runs, and they didn't all series. They outslugged the Jays.

The Jays biggest problem was they missed a TON of pitchers mistakes.

This one stings a lot more than last year. One the novelty factor of the playoffs, but on top of that I figured they'd lose to KC. Once Clv took down Boston I pretty much saw an easy path to the WS. Really should've known better..

Cleveland earned that Series. They were the better teamm. Jay's offense choked hard. Hopefully we let Jose walk and bring Edwin back

It's really difficult to make the ALCS, let alone back to back ALCS. That's a great season for te Jays and shouldn't be viewed as a disappointment.
I give the a lot of credit. They were flawed in a few ways but found a way to get here. Gave fans a lot of thrills.

Chokejob complete, they let Cleveland's pitching off big time. Before the season I was indifferent with bringing Bautista back but now I really hope they don't. He likes to talk a lot but rarely backs it up.

I've never been a Gibbons basher but I hope we don't see him in the dug out next year.

Game 3 sealed our fate. We win that one and we win the series.

Bats weren't consistent enough all season but the positive is that this teams pitching staff continued their regular season success into the playoffs.

Good news is moving forward we have a stacked rotation (Sanchez, Estrada, Happ, Stroman, Liriano), a good closer, and still have one of the top 5 position players in the MLB in Donaldson.

Also happen to have the management team that built the Cleveland team we just lost to running the Jays organization now - so that's a positive too.

Did Miocic break the "Cleveland Curse" when he won the UFC Heavyweight title?

Shortly after the Cavs won the NBA title and now the Indians are in the World Series.

Calling this a choke is ridiculously and completely unfair. Remember the Indians shut down the red Sox who are the best offence in baseball.
I wish they could have done more but choke? That's ridiculous. Indians are a real good baseball team

While it is hard to say the season as a whole was a disappointment, it was definitely disappointing that they had good enough pitching to win it all, but the bats just fell apart in the final month and this series. Donaldson is a pro's pro as a hitter, but pretty much everyone else fell flat. Can't win it all with just one guy hitting consistently.

Despite losing in such a bad way, I must say that this is probably the last time in awhile that the Jays get such a high powered offence. What they come up with in the years ahead, who knows, but this team brought a lot of great moments for everyone. Drama, excitement it had it all. Just hope the 2017 Jays are as likable as this one.

The jays need to re-invest the 45 million given to EE, Jose, and RA Dickey into quality bats period. The jays need quality hitters, not just swing for the fence all day guys.
