That I don't agree with at this stage in the game. If it came down to avoiding a double play, I'd do it.

You put speed on the bases and you never know it can distract the pitcher.

Or to steal a base. You needed runs in that instance. It was another baffling call by gibbons.

That is 8 of their 12 runs in this series.

 Where did they manufactor runs?

They essentially did what the Jays usually do, hit HR's.

Cleveland pitchers know that the Jays are just looking for the long ball and they pitch accordingly.

Cleveland batters are going up there with whatever is given to them and they happen to hit homeruns. It's not their strategy or mindset.

It's a mindset. There is a problem with the mindset of the hitters on this team.

Pretty pathetic to be shut out by a rookie pitcher. The offense was so inconsistent this season.
That said I am still very happy with the Jays this year. Two straight ALCSs after 20+ years in the wilderness is a success for me.

Wish it was the 80's again and they'd show the streaker. Would make for better entertainment value than this series overall.

I wasn't watching and google just says delayed. I assumed there was a riot. A streaker is actually kind of funny.

Likely the Indians would have just thrown to first and taken the out as they don't care about 1 run. So Bautista comes on with no chance to tie the game and now there is basically no one with speed on your bench.

Speed on the base paths means nothing in a 3 run game. Indians would be more than happy to let him take bags, they care about the guys at the plate.

Ballsy by Allen to challenge him like that. Cleveland is full of confidence and the Jays aren't, another big difference in this series.
