"They call us sexist just because we are critical of Hillary Clinton and her health. What if that time of month comes and she gets sick at the same time?"

The gripe is that he, a patriotic red-blooded American, is that he is faulted for health critiques of a woman because she is a woman. The next two clauses (time of month, sick) are independent clauses that would limit his free-speech, not an argument of causality.
He's arguing that her period is not relevant to her mental health, not the other way around.
Maybe that's what he maent, I'm not sure. Quibbling about an inarticulate complaint isn't a great idea.
The reason I chose to pick this fight is because I am worried that we are all lacking in charity.
There are real problems with sexism.
There is a fear of the Bradley effect where women are just generally perceived of being too hysterical to be trusted with power.
I think it's shameful that the most respected witness against the sexual assaults of Donald Trump is Donald Trump. The most respected witness against Bill Cosby was Hannibal Burress. Even Bill Clinton's crime was lying to men, not anything those hysterical bimbos said.
Misogyny is real, but jumping on a guy for using a buzzword is holding back the better conversations.

It's amazing how much of Trump's shtick seems like pure projecting.

That's what I was thinking, back when he called Clinton a racist, and today where he retweeted someone saying Biden groped women too.

His projecting is actually impressive. Trump undergoing a psychological exam would easily generate more PPVs than Mayweather-Pacquiao. Who wouldn't pay $99 to see that?

Bill on after the election:
"Bill Clinton says once the election is over, his wife's supporters should reach out to Donald Trump's voters.
The former president said Democrats should not treat Donald Trump supporters the way they and their nominee have treated Hillary Clinton backers.
He was speaking Monday at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire.
Clinton said many Trump supporters have reason to feel alienated, but their anger will not take them where they want to go."

Clinton's stamina, Jeb as low energy, lyin' Ted, even little marco.
All kinda reek of projection, in hindsight.
What are the world's most unforgivable crimes, and who's definitely worse than me?

In other news, Fox New's Shep Smith pretty much confirmed that he's gay today and states that he was never pressured to hide his sexuality. He just didn't want to comment on it.
Pretty much the only good thing on that network.

Well, a moderate position would balance the view that marriage is a sacrament with the view that it is a contactual arrangement.
Respect religious freedoms, while also allowing civil marriages to stand. Respect ballot initiatives, but also respect that marriages performed in certain states are given equal rights at the federal level.

Is there a better way to describe him deflecting from his original point once it's been pointed out that it's incorrect? We weren't discussing whether her material was fresh (it's not, but she is the most visible comic doing this at the moment), we were discussing whether her act was political or not.

I have a hard time believing a moderate view would be as heavily skewed to religious wording. Marriage is not a sacrament, it's a legal contract that allows for tax breaks. Your last sentence is another way of saying separate but equal. That usually works out well.
Maybe you meant a moderate conservative and I misunderstood?

I think we're just too busy laughing at someone earnestly portraying Amy Schumer as someone smashing gender roles.
Once it's been done, it's no longer brave or radical which is basically the root of your defence. I apologize for taking it a step further, I figured you could connect the dots. She's just taking something else someone else did like she does for the rest of her act. She attracts a simple crowd because she's a simple comedian. They didn't want to hear political stuff because she does easy, low brow, vagina jokes. So she got booed.

If you took my comment as "earnestly portraying Amy Schumer as someone smashing gender roles" then I think you're projecting a lot.
I was just pointing out that it's not out of the blue for her to tackle something unpopular. Her "12 Angry Men" sketch comes to mind.

Just call him on it, and explain your reasoning. These snarky drive-bys must end (not just you, but like everyone, including myself).

Constitution enshrines religious freedom, and many religions say marriage is a sacrament. Allow religious people to act on their consciences.
This is a moderate position, one that tries to imperfectly, but sincerely address the issues presented by both sides.
Unfortunately, in today's win all, lose nothing political mentality, moderation is increasingly being seen in the precisely the way you just described my position. Inherently unfair, or even unjust.
