If he's not getting an extension at the end of year 5, he's getting traded at the draft that year.

Agree there is nothing for anyone to complain about. If it was 7m 7years there is nothing to complain about. What is most important is Johnny won't miss the opening game and the Flames didn't break the bank with a 8m signing. That would have handcuffed the team.
