That was an absolute must win.

Now we need a big game from Sanchez tomorrow

Win tomorrow and really all is forgotten. I like our chances. For some reason I see a blowup. 7-1 Jays tomorrow!

That was literally the biggest regular season win in about 23 years.

Awesome performance by our pitching staff.

Wow that was a needed win.

Please can the real Josh Donaldson show up? We need him so so so badly.

I think after tomorrow they should sit him down for a few games and let that hand heal. Otherwise he's not going to get right for the rest of the year.

Huge win this afternoon!

Good to see the team rebound after last night debacle.

Whew. Team needed that. A strong start from a starter, and a lights out performance from the bull pen. Hopefully Sanchez has his best stuff tomorrow.

Still need the bats to come back to life. Crazy how pretty much all of them went ice cold at the same time.

Detroit was already in the process of converting Travis into and outfielder when Toronto acquired him. Seems like a good move long term.

As a Sox fan there's tons of doom and gloom in here or the past two days, I understand why though. Donaldson and Bautista sure seem snakebitten recently.

Can't wait for tomorrow! Buchholz has actually pitched well of late and it makes for a good matchup

Interesting. The Jays will still have Goins and IIRC Barney as well to play second if they moved Travis to the OF.

What is Biagini's contract status for next season. Still under team control I assume?

Would be a shame to lose him.

Goins isn't a major league player offensively.

No but he's a decent option to back up guys like Tulo/Barney or Travis if they keep him at 2nd no?

Depends on what they're looking for. To me, on a team like the Jays where there are no holes in the lineup, if you put Goins in there he's the lone sore spot. His fielding is the best I've possibly EVER seen (no exaggeration), but his bat is so bad. He's a virtual guaranteed out. On a team rebuilding and looking to fill a spot, sure you can have a guy like Goins, but on a powerhouse where you don't want one glaring hole in the lineup, I'm not sure where Goins fits in their plans. Barney has shown me enough that I'd slate him ahead of Goins, no question.
