Don't mind any of the Knights iterations. But it's just lame that it can't be just Knights. If you're putting a color on it, why not Black?

It must be me but all of these names are horrible. If your name needs an adjective / descriptor it's not good.

Vancouver Rioty Canucks
You get the picture. When the Ducks dropped mighty I thought it was an improvement but obviously I'm in the minority there.
Looking forward to some more black jerseys, yay.

I guess Clarkson University doesn't care if Vegas uses the Golden Knights, would be better if they could just get permission for Knights or Black Knights.

Mighty ducks is different though.
Like the LV equivalent to that would be "Great Knights" which is a thousand times better than putting a colour ahead of it. The colours on the jerseys should do that already. You don't need "The Calgary Red Flames" or "Winnipeg Blue Jets". It works with the wings and jackets cause there's a greater meaning behind the colour usage than just describing the object/thing.

Hopefully the jerseys override the ridiculous name. Maybe incorporate purple into the scheme now that LA dropped it, just to separate their brand from the crowd. Always liked the purple in LA's old jerseys.

Desert Knights seems like a great call, IMO.
The team will simply be called the Knights most of the time, which is just what they wanted all along.

I have never heard that before.
New Jersey has a history of lots of 'ghost' stories (such as Amittyville). It is my understanding that this was the genesis of the name.
Edit: Amittyville is in NY I think. Nonetheless, the point remains

Sure. But had you heard of this corporation before they applied for an NHL franchise? Yeah, me neither. So not sure how that's relevant to the "money" situation. If anything, they should be picking a name that maximizes the appeal of the franchise instead of trying to keep a theme with a corporation most people have never heard of.
