I know he wants "Knights" in the name but he could be a little more creative.
What is a desert knight? when were nights in the desert? Crusades?
Crusaders, Templars, Byzantines, Saracans
When you Google image it, you can see there's lots of different possibilities for imagery and, ultimately, marketing. I think it could work well for them.
I kinda like the Desert Knights. Also a play on "Desert Nights" or "Las Vegas Nights".
But I also think "the Vegas Night" would be a cool name and also is very relevant to the City. Although I'm sure haters of the "Wild" will hate the "Night" too.
