In a league with no guaranteed contracts I am always on the player's side.

That's funny because I believe it was on the Jim Rome show that they stated The guy wants the same signing bonus paid out the way everyone else's is. Players drafting in front, behind and in similar spots in previous drafts are being awarded their signing bonuses. From what I understand he isnt asking for the moon, just status quo.

The team framed it very well to gain sympathy from those that don't know how the operate. The Chargers are the slimiest team when it comes to contract negotiations, pulled the same stunt on Phillip Rivers when they drafted him high.

Bosa is entitled to get exactly what other 4th overall picks have received under the new rookie wage scale in the CBA, so I am firmly in his corner on this one.

Neat, the Raiders filed to trademark the Las Vegas Raiders. Classic Al move to spur action right? I'd be fine with them moving. Ship SD to LA and Oakland to Las Vegas. Now that the NHL popped the Vegas cherry a Raider move there doesn't seem as far fetched.

The Cleveland Browns have agreed to a trade with New England that will send LB Barkevious Mingo to the Patriots in exchange for a 2017 fifth-round pick.

The Browns now own Philadelphia’s 2017 first-round pick, Tennessee’s 2017 second-round pick, New England’s 2017 fifth-round pick, Indianapolis’ 2017 seventh-round pick and Philadelphia’s 2018 second-round pick. Cleveland has conditionally surrendered its 2017 fourth-round pick to Philadelphia and its 2017 sixth- or seventh-round pick to San Francisco.

Mingo, a first-round draft choice in 2013, appeared in 46 games with 16 starts. He logged 99 career tackles, seven sacks, one interception, 16 passes defensed and one fumble recovery.

ESPN names its top 100 players in the NFL list.

Here are 1-25.

http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/page...en-bay-packers

Top 5 are...

1) JJ Watt
2) Aaron Rodgers
3) Rob Gronkowski
4) Antonio Brown
5) Von Miller

Agree? Disagree?

Myself, I dont know how you cant have Brady at least top 3 if not #1.

Lots of interesting placements.

I like Russell Wilson, I really do, but there is no way he's anywhere near a top 20 player. Josh Norman ahead of Chris Harris is funny. Navorro Bowman way too low. Marcus Peters after 1 year? Not sure about that one either.

Bold prediction: Aaron Donald will be considered better than JJ Watt by the end of this year, and will win DPOY.

Good thing I drafted Prescott. Hopefully Romo is injured because Prescott has been impressive. Looking good again tonight.

Maybe. Donald is really good. Khalil Mack could be in the conversation.

Does anyone really think he's going to last more than half the season? He's willing but the body is no longer able as I don't see that back holding up to taking the hits of a 16 game season.

was going to add that, especially with how much better the secondary is going to be, and the improvement in other pass rushers across from Mack he's not going to get triple teamed (yes triple) as much as last year

a monster season is coming
