I have a pair for the second Edmonton show from StubHub and the 'Issued To' is blank.

StubHub will refund your money if the tickets are not honoured at the door so at least it won't be insult on top of injury.

I just got some for Saturday in Edmonton from stubhub and the buyers name is on the tickets. So better not be credit card verification.

My wif bought me a ticket off of TM for Saturday night. Do I need to bring her credit card? I've never bought a ticket off of TM before

If you have physical paper tickets I'm sure you'll be fine. I just got back from the show tonight in Edmonton.

They were not checking any IDs. Just scanning tickets.

yeah, if you have actual paper tickets in your hand you won't need to verify your credit card.

I went to a concert in Vancouver last week that used credit card verification and it was super easy. They basically have little hand held machines like what they use to sell the 50/50 tickets with. They swipe your credit card and a little print the size of a receipt comes out with you seats on it. Took about 3 seconds.

'We arrive alive': Utter magic, plenty of tears as Tragically Hip play Rexall Place on final tour

http://edmontonjournal.com/entertain...-on-final-tour

Has there ever been a tour of a major act with such a specific, painful caveat? This is not Motley Crue lying about never coming back.

So here we are. Um … I uh … Jesus … goodbye, Gord. Love you all, so ferociously. Thank you for all your magic. There are other worlds than these.

What a great night. I've never seen that many people in Rexall ever. They pushed the mix desk way to the back to open up more good seats on the floor, which was packed, and almost all the high 200's and 300's were full. The merch lines were insane even the ones set up outside but they were all open after the show. Not sure when they cut off booze sales but it was well after the show started so maybe 930.

They did the first Scared and a few others that they hadn't played so far. A couple songs later, Grace, Too they just slayed. What they called the first encore of Hundredth, Fully Completely then Courage the place went even more nuts. The adoration that poured out of the crowd was amazing to see and absorb. It seemed like towards the end both Langlois and Sinclair were trying hard to just keep their heads down and play through. Wrapped with Ahead by a Century that was mostly drowned out by the crowd singing, naturally enough. I really liked Human Mind off the new album early in the show. No Bobcaygeon, Blow at High Dough or New Orleans is Sinking but you can't have them all. On to Saturday night.

I tried to go in to ticketmaster.com to print the tickets and it gave this weird message:

IMPORTANT ALERT : There is a delivery delay on this event. Please check the Event Detail Page for information on when the delay will be lifted. Once the delay has been lifted, your tickets will be available via your selected delivery method.

Any insight into this?

Thanks.

Picked up tickets last night for Wednesday's show in Calgary.

I have seen the Hip a bunch of times, some better than others.

My wife and I weren't going to go, but last night she said she would really like to go, so we got tickets.

I really hope they play Small Town Bring Down.

I got that message when I ordered my ticket, got a subsequent email the next day - I think your ticket is a credit card entry ticket

We want to make sure you know how to use your Credit Card Entry tickets for your upcoming event:

The Tragically Hip
Scotiabank Saddledome
August 3rd, 2016 Show: 8:30 PM

What do I need to do?

Doors open at 6:30 PM on the day of the event, please enter via the Chrysler Club Entrance or at the West Entrance, and just present the credit card used to purchase the tickets. That's it - you're in!

Actually, I just went to print mine and got the same message. I went to the event page and there is a message on there now "Delivery delayed to Jul 30 in order to complete ticket limit checks". Weird. Anyone else able to print off their tickets???

Me and the husbot were at the show last night in Edmonton. "Mixed emotions" is the best way I could describe it. Rexall Place was jammed to the rafters. A bum for every seat. The crowd was on its feet all night.

I've seen The Hip perform where they're really engaging with the crowd, and times when they've been a little distant. Last night, at the beginning anyway, they felt a little distant. "Just the music, ma'am", if you know what I mean. Thinking about the reason why they might have wanted to keep the crowd at arms length broke my heart. After the first intermission, they seemed to loosen up a little and connect more with the crowd. I like to think that they warmed up to us.

I stuck to my guns and didn't cry through the show. Not through "Courage", not "Grace Too", but at the very end "Ahead By A Century" got me where I live. Along with about 17,000 other people.

Dammit, they did scared last night so I probably won't hear it tomorrow. But I'm still holding hope for Nautical Disaster!

Sonic is playing a collection of Hip songs all day, and my excitement for the concert has upped to 11. Tonight is going to be spectacular.
